After the War against Hybern, Ariciya returns to her life within the Court of Dreams and Illyrian military. Meanwhile, the Inner Circle searches for a way to break the spell on Vassa that binds her to the form of a firebird during the day. But, two years and zero working solutions later, whispers about the Mortal Queens rallying their forces for a revenge strike on Prythian surface. New weapons are being forged, and they need to prepare as soon as possible.
