9. Zara

Loud yelling noises can be heard in the background while a sharp pain shoots in my temples . I force my eyes to open and find myself in a place I don't even recognize. Last I remember, I was taking shots with Kai and we lost count . Shru was telling me to stop but I didn't listen to her . Then people became double . I could see two shrutis and two everybody else. At the side table of this bed , my eyes land at a phone which is mine . There is another phone, the screen has a pic of me sleeping as a wallpaper. This is definitely Archit's phone.

I get up from the bed and wear my heals . My hair look awful so I tie them in a messy bun . Exiting the room, I walk through the hall passing by uncountable similar doors . Following the sounds , I soon come near a staircase leading down the corridor.
" she " I hear archit . Hastening my steps I round the corner of the stairs and suddenly the the voice which is a replica of my dad's comes into my ears .

"Say that again and I'll rip your tongue out right now hunter " abhi growls and my feet automatically come to a hault . My nails dig on the wooden banister and my heart turns into a drum .

"You asked me my last wish, all of my wishes start and end at her , so that's my answer, touch me again and my love turns brother-less" archit glares abhi in the eyes . My brother is really bad at temper and archit is reckless . What a deadly combination. The victim being me .

"You---" abhi steps forward but shivay interrupts him . Great! Just what we needed here . Shivay!

"Relax abhimanyu, your temper is the only thing I don't like about you . Anger compels us to make mistakes" he grabs my brother's shoulders making him get aside while he now faces archit .

"Zara is like a sister to me and trust me I'm the last person on earth to make relations with anyone like that so trust me when I say that, I'll break each crapy bone inside your damn body if you think of her next time"

If I were archit , I would have begun running for hills but Archit Oberoi doesn't even flinch, instead he smirks .
Another guy who looks really similar to archit steps forward in front of my brother . Standing shoulder to shoulder with archit , he speaks
"If you don't stop threatening my big brother , I'll pluck your pretty nails and shove them inside your fucking eyes ."
And then it clicks me, yes I've seen him. I've seen him in the gallery of inayat's phone . He is the guy , the secret boyfriend. No , according to her , he is the secret guy who is her friend as if we were not enough and she had to look for a friend in Black Fucking Hunters University and that too Archit's brother.

" Ouch , that's creepy man" devansh struts inside .

"Oh did I just frighten you honey ? I didn't mean to " Archit's brother mocks and kavish cannot control his laughter .
Okay he's  a lunatic and my friend needs to be Warned .

"Shut the fuck up little brother of a wanker " abhi growls "Don't poke your nose in elders business , go play outside with dolls "
This time daivey laughs.

"Now where was I " abhi grabs Archit's collars with soft hands which he doesn't even possess. I think I should do something, I think I sh----

"Family Prestige is everything for me and Zara is the reputation of my family and me , so I get it why you're after my sister but see , we all have sisters , don't we kavish ? " He smirks and kavish's smirk falls and a deadly glare takes place .

"So unless you want me to wipe you off the face of earth don't bloody think of my sister again or your family will forever remember who Abhimanyu Mandhana is "

Archit clenches his jaw and tries to remove my brother's hands from his shirt but abhi won't back off.
"Threaten me again and you're dead ABHIMANYU " archit growls as I pull the notepad in my phone and type something which I might need .

"Stay away from my sister or wish for a less painful death because you will be the one to end up dead ." Abhi snarls. shivay grabs my brother's arm in case he looses it while kavish is readily standing behind archit but younger Oberoi is waiting for violence. As if he's dying to see some blood .

Archit lunges towards abhi and I sprint in between both of them .

"Stop " I raise a hand in front of archit .

"Abhimanyu " daivey speaks loudly as this time my brother comes forward like a raging bull.

"Bhai , please rukjaao , kuch nahi hua ,vapis chalte hai , I'll explain. " I speak and tears pool in my eyes when a scene from my childhood comes in front of my vision . One day when my brother had beaten a guy at school who was troubling me and his parents complained to Dad . My father was ready to beat abhi that day and mum pleaded in the same way in front of my dad . She was crying and I was scared he would hurt abhi badly. That day he made a promise to mum that he wouldn't be like dad when it comes to temper but guess he forgot his promises .

"There is nothing to explain , you are mine and he cannot control your life " archit voices from behind me .

"Seriously ? Can you please shut the fuck up right now " I say but abhi growls " I'll kill this asshole today and right here."

"Ohh you can try , let's see who walks out with the girl" his brother speaks .

"Don't you dare talk like that about my sister "abhi is like a lion , if it wasn't for shivay stopping him, he would seriously hurt or get hurt but there would be a lot of bloodshed .

Archit steps forward and I turn around instantly and place my phone in font of his face .

I'll go on a date , if you stop right here and forget about me if you don't.

He looks at me and clenches his jaw but finally takes a step back .

"I hope you keep that in mind babydoll " he speaks and my brother grabs my elbow yanking me close as my back hits his hard chest .
"If you keep him in mind, dad will be the one to kill him if not me . That will be if he manages to save himself from your brother "
He glares down at me with nothing else but rage . I tremble as he takes me out without another word .

My phone vibrates and I Check the text .

Archit: Be ready to pay for that babydoll .
