"Y/N ARE YOU awake?" Your best friend Euijoo whispered as he brushed back a piece of your hair observing your closed eyes.
You were about to sleepily respond to him when you heard him speak again.
"Maybe now that you're not awake I can practice what I've been meaning to say for so long." He softly chuckled before pulling you closer towards him. "I can't seem to find the courage when I'm around you normally."
Your heart beat faster at every word of his.
"I guess what I'm trying to say is... I think I love you Y/N." He whispered the last part as he shyed away. "You're not even here to listen to me say all this, why am I getting so flustered? That's how much you make my heart flutter."
You were trying so hard not to smile as you listened to him, not wanting to embarrass him further by revealing how you were awake the entire time.
"I hope I can get the chance to tell you when you're awake someday. Maybe when I'm not so scared." He laughed lightly. "For now, good night. Sweet dreams my Y/N." He said before placing a gentle kiss on your forehead and hugging you even tighter before drifting off to sleep.
"I love you too, Euijoo." You whispered after you were sure he was finally sleeping. "More than you know."
