"Can you believe it! How could they humiliate me, ME, Sun Wukong the Monkey King in such a manner!!" Wukong said pacing back and forth as Macaque and the monkey's watched. As Macaque was visiting Flower Fruit Mountain, he saw Wukong pacing back and forth angrily muttering to himself "Wukong it couldn't have been that bad" Macaque said as the copper simian stops pacing "'that bad?' They placed me as the Pimawen, the lowest position in heaven!" Wukong said sitting down on the log

"How dare they do this" Wukong said crossing his arms, Macaque looked at his friend never seen the copper simian so down and upset, he went over to Wukong and sat next to him "I just want them to see like how you and my subjects see me" Wukong said. Macaque eyes widened as a small blush dusts across his face, then his ears perked up when an idea appeared " you know, when one of my siblings are sad, a shadow play always cheers them up" Macaque said his shadow forming a portal as his lantern floats up to his hands. Wukong looks over to the prince and stares in awe at the lantern the other monkey's staring at awe at the lantern as well

"Come on" Macaque said standing up and walking, Wukong and the monkey's followed him towards a flat stone wall "what story do you have in mind?" Wukong said sitting down with the monkey's huddled next to their king "it's a story about two lovers who are forbidden to be together" Macaque said smiling as his lantern began to glow, then with a wave of his hand the lantern glows brightly at the stone wall as everyone watched

"Long ago, two lovers met on top of a mountain that divided their two villages. The villages we're enemies so they cannot be together,  but their love was strong and they found a way. Every night when all the villagers were asleep, they meet up in secret on the same mountain they met. Until one day, a kind old woman showed them a labyrinth and gave them a map so they could meet in secret, and anyone who tried to follow them would be lost forever in the labyrinth

"The years passed and they continued to meet in the labyrinth, their love growing, but one day the man didn't come, he died in the war between their two villages. Devastated and heartbroken, the woman unleashed a terrible display of her powers, she could've destroyed them all....but instead she declared the war over. Both villages helped her build a city where they could live together

The woman's name was Oma and the man's name was Shu, the great city was named Omashu as a monument of thier love. However despite bringing peace to the two villages she was still heartbroken that her love wasn't with her when the goddess of mercy came to her telling her that both she and the man will be reincarnated and will be together again, the woman was overjoyed and smiled after so many years knowing that one day they will be together again and nothing will ever tear them apart"

When Macaque finished the story, the lantern stopped glowing and lands into the princes hands "that...that was amazing! Who knew you could tell such an amazing story!" Wukong said smiling his eyes sparkling his tail wagging the mountain monkey's hooting and chirping in agreement, Macaque blushed a bit "thank you" Macaque said smiling "can you do more?" Wukong asked, Macaque ears perked up more "sure" Macaque said his lantern glowing again and he began to tell another story as Wukong and the other monkey's watched
