3 months have passed and the Lantern Festival was tonight, on Flower Fruit Mountain Wukong was in one of the hot springs in the stone palace, scrubbing furiously all over his body, making sure every inch of his body was squeaky clean, his fur shiny and smooth, and rubbing scented flowers onto his body, afterwards he hops out of the hot springs and shakes his fur and hair dry then checking every inch of his body to see if he missed any spots, when he was sure he didn't he put on a hanfu undergarments and went back to his room to find the perfect outfit to wear

He digs through the closet looking over the clothes as he tries to find the perfect thing to wear "no..no..no, no, Augh!!" Wukong exclaimed in anger "none of these will do at all, I have to have the perfect outfit for the Lantern Festival!" Wukong said digging through his closet once again. He pushed more clothes away and spotted something in the far back, he pulled it out and saw it was a white and dark blue hanfu with a white shirt and a blue lapel with stitched patterns on the lapel and shirt, a white skirt that faded to a lighter shade of blue at the bottom with a dark blue label and ribbon with stitched patterns on the bottom of the skirt and on the belt, and a long sleeve dark blue jacket that was a lighter shade of blue at the bottom and the end of the sleeves with stitched patterns on the sleeves, arms and on the back

"Whoa, I didn't know I had this" Wukong said staring at the beautiful hanfu "it's perfect!" Wukong said smiling and began to put the hanfu on

In the Kingdom of Peace, Macaque was also getting ready for the Lantern Festival, just finishing drying his fur and hair, he then placed on a white hanfu undergarments and sat down in front of this vanity mirror as a maid comb and brush his hair "oh you look so beautiful your Royal Highness, he's really is a lucky one to pick you" the maid said brushing his hair "thanks, I think I'm the lucky one to meet him though" Macaque said with a smile, then someone knocked on his door "come in" Macaque said, the door opens to reveal the Empress walking in carrying a white long box tied with a purple ribbon in her hands "oh hello mother" Macaque said turning to the Empress direction

"Hello my snowflake, getting ready for the festival I see" the Empress said smiling "I have a gift for you" the Empress said holding out the box "a gift?" Macaque asked taking the box, he pulls the ribbon undoing the tie and opens it letting out a gasp at what was inside, in the box was the most beautiful hanfu he had ever seen the shirt was sleeveless and light purple and the skirt was long changing to dark pink to a deep purple, with blue spider lily's and blue butterflies sewn on the bottom, the belt of the skirt had a pink and blue pattern sewn on with a blue ribbon, the cloak was a love shad of light purple with a white fur lining around the hood, pearl white shoes with pink lotus stitched on, and the hanfu jacket was long sleeve with the same color and design "oh my gods" Macaque said an awe at how beautiful it was "every dressmaker in the kingdom came together to make this, just for you my snowflake" the Empress said smiling

Macaque stared at the beautiful dress then back to the Empress "I love it, thank you" Macaque said hugging his mother "anything for my lovely snowflake" the Empress said hugging back "now go put them on, your court will be here soon" the Empress said releasing the prince from the hug, Macaque nodded and went around the rice paper divider and began putting the outfit on

Back on Flower Fruit Mountain, Wukong dress in the blue hanfu his hair and fur brushed flies around the jungle scooping up as many beautiful flowers he could gather before adding them into the large growing bouquet "there, perfect" Wukong said tying a small rope around the bouquet "now, here. Comes. Monkey. King" Wukong said and flies off to the Kingdom, however as he gets closer to the Kingdom his heart started to pick up pace the closer he got. Soon he lands at the gates to the palace with the bouquet in hand, he stares at the large wooden doors as his heart race even faster, he swallowed the peach size lump in his throat and bring his hand out curling it into a fist to knock on the door, he pulls his fist back and just as he was about to knock
