Lo'ak asks Kiri for advice

LO'AK COULDN'T WIPE HIS SMILE OFF HIS FACE. He skipped along the shore, looking up at the stars and remembering what Leyra said earlier. Their stars.

He quietly walked towards his marui, already excited to see A'leyra tomorrow. His thoughts were very rudely interrupted.

"It's way past eclipse, why are you still awake? ...And why are you smiling so much?" Kiri groggily rubbed her eyes. She had been anxiously waiting for her younger brother to come back. Lo'ak jumped back slightly when he heard his sister's tired voice.

"Oh Kiri, you scared me! And you do not need to know where I was." He replied in a quiet whisper, a light blush tinting his cheeks. Kiri raised her eyebrows curiously. She shifted slightly on her mat and pat it gently, siganalling for him to sit down.

"Come on, time for our monthly secret session."

Secret sessions is a tradition that Lo'ak and Kiri would do monthly. The two would collect gossip and secrets from all of the people and then discuss it all in one very long conversation.

"Don't tell anyone!" Yeah of course! Except Kiri.
"This it between the two of us!" For sure...and Lo'ak too.

"So..What is going on with you? Literally never seen you smile that wide, like ever." She looked side to side, making sure her family was sound asleep.

"If I tell you, you promise not to tell anyone! I mean it!" Kiri's eyes widened as she heard his strict tone. Now she had her full attention on Lo'ak.

"I promise. It stays between us."

"I promise. It stays between us."

And me. Please stop talking, I'm trying to sleep peacefully.

"I..Ihadmyfirstkiss" Now you got my attention. Almost made me choke on my spit and blow my cover. Clearly, Kiri had the same feeling.

"No way! With who?" Kiri whispered harshly. She couldn't believe anyone would willingly like her brother, let alone kiss him.

"...A'leyra." No..

"Shut up! I can't believe you finally made a move, skxawng!" Kiri laughed quietly, giggling into her arms, making Lo'ak start giggling too.

I felt the tears brim my eyes. In Lo'ak's words, why was I such a wuss?
This could've been easily avoided. Now, I have to deal with them being in love. Why did she have to fall for him? Why not me?

Also, it's very embarrassing to have your little brother kiss someone before you do. Whatever, I'm going to sleep.

"This is probably the biggest news we've discussed in our sessions." Kiri started

"And I'm happy for you two!" She patted his shoulder and brought him into a warm side hug.

"Thanks, Kiri." He laughed at his big sister. He was very grateful for her, even if he rarely showed it.

"Now, I need you help." Kiri was shocked. Lo'ak never asked for her help before, unless his idiotic ass was injured.

"What?"
"I need you to help me with A'leyra. I've never done this before, what do I do?" He flailed his arms in the air over dramatically. 

Kiri accidentally let out a loud laugh, immediately getting her mouth covered by Lo'ak. They waited to make sure that no one was awoken by the loud noise before continuing their conversation.

"Okay, you need to prioritise her. Make her know that she's the most important person in your life. Make time for her, spend time with her, everything like that." She started, making Lo'ak nod along at everything she said

"Do not, and I repeat, do not ignore her! It will not benefit you, I promise."

Lo'ak almost smiled at how seriously she was taking it.

"Thanks, Kiri. And you know...you can always come to me about these things too." He grinned, already anticipating his next line.

"What do you mean?"

"You know, Rotxo. I heard he likes you." Kiri shoved him roughly as her eyes widened in disgust.

"Ew, gross! I would rather drown." She scoffed at Lo'ak's amused expression

Lo'ak fell asleep shortly after. I was extremely happy for Lo'ak, don't get me wrong, but a part of me still feels bad for Neteyam. I mean, it is technically his fault, but still.

Looking over at Neteyam soundly sleeping, thank Eywa he was asleep. He would be crushed if he heard that conversation.

The next morning, Lo'ak and Kiri were still sound asleep from staying up late the night before. A'leyra, however, was up bright and early. After the night before, she couldn't wait to see Lo'ak. After waiting for about five hours, she grew extremely impatient and walked towards the Sully's hut. While walking, she saw Neteyam, who sounded like he was rehearsing something.

"-like you...No! That can't be how you confess. Pull yourself together, Neteyam."

"Confess? To who?" A'leyra jumped out of her hiding spot, making Neteyam flinch at the sound of her voice.

"A'leyra! W-What are you doing here?" He stuttered, not preparing for her to interrupt him. He scratched the back of his head awkwardly.

"So...who do you wanna confess to? Is it Tsireya?" A'leyra asked, very intrigued and prepared to interview the nervous na'vi in front of her.

"No! no, not Tsireya. You don't need to worry about it." He dismissed her quickly. Not wanting to bush his boundaries, she let the topic go.

"Is Lo'ak still sleeping?" She asked curiously, already slightly craving his gentle touch.

All Neteyam did was nod slightly, then walked away as if he was rushing some where. She furrowed her non-existent eyebrows in confusion. She shook it off and walked towards Lo'ak's marui, with a skip in every step.

Reaching their hut, she slowly walked up and laughed at the scene in front of her. Lo'ak was sprawled on the floor as Kiri's hand basically on his face, as if she slapped him in her sleep somehow.

She knelt down until she reached their level. She placed her hand on his chest, feeling his chest rise up and down with every breath. Once she found herself staring, she shook her head and decided to wake him up

"Lo'ak! Psst, Lo'ak! Get up." She patted his chest lightly. His eyes slowly fluttered open, waking up to the prettiest view he'd ever woken up to. Her

"Come on! Lets go swim!" He chuckled at her enthusiasm and shoved Kiri's hand off his face. Making her slap his face in her sleep, again. A'leyra laughed loudly at his disgusted face and pulled him up.

"Wait..One more thing before we leave." He didn't let her respond as he cupped her cheek and pulled her in, placing his lips onto hers. She was a bit shocked, but returned the kiss immediately. She hugged his lower back as she smiled into the kiss.

"Not here guys, I'm trying to sleep." Kiri rolled her eyes while looking at them, a smile unable to leave her lips. The couple laughed into each others arms, interlocking hands and leaving the marui.
