The day of the Internationals arrived with an electric energy that surged through the air. Heeseung and his team flew all the way to Seoul, South Korea, where the prestigious competition would take place.
As he stepped onto the grand stage, Heeseung was greeted by a dazzling array of skaters from different corners of the globe. The Internationals promised a thrilling journey, reminiscent of the excitement he had felt during his very first performance in his hometown.
Yet, this time, the anticipation was different. It was a familiar thrill, a sensation he welcomed without a trace of regret or remorse.
Heeseung was ready to take on the world, to showcase his talent on an international stage, and to leave a lasting mark in the world of figure skating.
The Internationals were his chance to shine a path leading to the Nationals or the Grand Prix Finals, and he approached it with a heart full of determination and a spirit unburdened by doubt.
Within that massive ice rink adorned with glistening crystals and a canopy of twinkling lights Heeseung's blades whispered softly against the frozen surface, and he glided forward, his movements as fluid as a gentle stream. The audience was captivated from the very beginning.
With every twirl and twist, Heeseung seemed to defy gravity itself. His arms flowed like poetry in motion, creating delicate lines that painted an ethereal picture on the ice.
His fingers reached for the stars, his body bending and arching in perfect harmony with the music. He became an instrument of artistry, his skates composing a symphony of elegance and precision as then he took the final bow, the millions in the crowd rose to their feet, showering him with admiration and adoration.
The Internationals was a night he would cherish forever, a night where once a dream flight young skater had ice skated in front of millions of South Korean fans, and in the intricacy of his movements, he had touched the very essence of beauty itself and it was all thanks to Sunghoon.
He could never stop saying how grateful he was for him and how much he had helped him throughout this journey.
Indeed, the Universe was with them tonight, hoping it would last forever.
The night that his name was called Champion on the road to the Nationals/Grand Prix Finals gave him a sense of excitement but at the same time scared, scared of what the future might hold for both him and Sunghoon.
"Congratulations Lee Heeseung."
"Thank you, Thank you so much. That was a very intense performance, my coach right here would agree." pointing to his coach Sunghoon who was beside him.
