you let it all out, every event that had taken place, every word that was spoken, every touch that had happened. you sobbed hysterically into your hands, wanting to just die at the moment. why were you like this? why did you feel so bad for jungkook? why did you grow to care about the boy so much?

you didnt want to feel this way anymore, you wished that you couldve just taken an easier job and let someone else handle it, but you knew you couldnt back out now, what would your father think? as if he had been eavesdropping your thoughts, the crystal ball began to glow, knocking you out of your thoughts. you ignored the calls from your father and continued to sob.

"y/n i know you hear me! answer me right this instant!" he yelled out in anger. "leave me alone!" you shouted, not caring that he couldnt hear you.

he scoffed, "i've been watching you these past few days. you're pathetic. falling for that boy? what do you think this is? you have a job to do and you treat this like its a vacation!"

you could feel the anger boiling in. you sat up quickly and stomped your way to your room, tapping the crystal ball twice and meeting your dad's cold stare.

"why werent you answering my calls? and why are you crying?" he asked, folding his arms. you rolled your eyes and scoffed, you wanted to just get this over with. "what do you want?"

"you don't have much time left." he started, as if you didnt know that already. did he really call you just to state the obvious? you knew this was a waste of time....

"pshht, wow dad i didnt notice!" you laughed sarcastically making him slam his fists on the table, not liking the fact that his words were being seen as a joke.

"shut up, child!" he roared, letting his anger get the best of him. "i came to re-offer your position as the higher up." he grinned, the darkness behind it making you shudder. you shook your head, wanting to yell at him for not respecting your decision.

"and before you say no, just think about it. you know deep down your fragile heart that i'm right. you're not meant for this job! you're meant for bigger things! plus it'll get your mind off of that stupid human...." he said the last words to himself but you still heard him, and it made you furious. why did he always think that he was better than everyone?

"hes not stupid!" you hollered, stomping your foot. you knew you had to end the call before you said things you sure as hell were gonna regret later, so you tapped the ball three times, silencing your father's unnecessary words.

you shook your head in frustration and made your way out of the house. you had to see him.

the whole way there you had worry in your heart. was he going to let you in or was he going to disregard you like you did to him those many other times? you stood in front of his door, more anxious than ever. why were you so scared? all you had to do was knock on the door and ask to come in, easy as pie.

'is he going to forgive me after what i did? how do i apologize?'

you clutched onto your bag and sighed deeply

'here goes nothing'

you held your hand out and knocked on jungkook's door, silently praying that he would answer. after a few seconds of waiting, jungkook finally opened the door, not expecting to see you on the other side.
