"Yaah! Kim Eun Jin, wait for me!," you dashed towards her, nudging her shoulder who was in her own world walking towards the first class of the day.
She looked at you and forced a smile. Looking around you could see a buzz circulating in the campus, everyone was randomly gasping with widened eyes. "What's the deal?" You asked.
She raised an eyebrow and said," You really don't know?" You shook your head. She said," Last night Mr. Changmin got into a car accident. Five of his bones are fractured."
Your jaw dropped because he must've felt enormous amount of pain. What a poor guy! It's only been a month since the course started and he's already in hospital.
"So why do will still have a class?" How could management not send any email about today's schedule. The first class was his and if he wasn't supposed to come then how would classes run?
"A substitute recruitment," she cursed under her breath. A look of terror on her face which didn't went unnoticed by you. "Are you okay?" She nodded," Yeah, I just don't like this cold air, it reminds me of my hometown."
She was didn't had good memories of her hometown and it was a sensitive topic for her so you never tried to make her uncomfortable with your questions but whenever she put forward a token of her ethnic you were always curious.
You said," You're right. It's unlikely to have such dark clouds in the sky at this time of the year."
"No, you don't understand. It's because He is here!" She yelled at you.
Both of you had your eyes widened, simultaneously. She immediately took two steps back and apologized," I-I'm sorry. I don't know what's going in my head." Suddenly her phone beeped with a text and she read it. She looked up and said,"I-I'll see you in the class." She walked away in a hurry and disappeared at the corner.
Eunjin was acting nervous. She had never lost her cool but today she seemed to be under pressure. Maybe she was still not over her ex.
Well, if she needs time you'll catch up on her later. For now, you strolled to the classroom.
Everyone was out of their seats, grouping in between the rows, here and there. You strolled to the back, few seats ahead of the last seats. Putting the bag in the desk you settled down, finally taking a breath.
It's been twenty minutes since you were going through your notes when the bell rang and so did your stomach.
You barely ate this morning, not to mention you had to fetch the last bus or you wouldn't be able to walk in unless get scolded.Your stomach was grumbling so you sneakily shoved your hands in the bag and ripped a packet of cookie. Just when you were about to pull it out someone said," You're eating now?"
You flinched but turning around you saw Eunjin. "God, Eunjin you scared me."
"Whatever," She rolled her eyes. Time really calmed her down. She sat beside you with a poker face, as expected. You took a bite of a cookie and said,"You know what Eunjin, you should chill."
You passed the packet to her but she refused. She said," I should ask you the same. Sometimes I think I know you but then you give me strange vibes.."
You choked on a cookie, immediately stretching your arm for water. Drinking it you coughed a few times before glaring at her. "What part of me do you think is strange, huh? I am normal. N.O.R.M.A.L!" You pointed it out.
"Girls, you guys are being so loud!" A boy sitting in front of you turned around.
"I'm sorry, Hyunjin." You grimaced. He turned back. That's when you saw a big crumble of choco chip stuck over his hair.
