the team, their girlfriends and malia had all ended up at some bar in soho after the match.
all were speaking amongst themselves as malia stood with talia, mason, ben and conor. ben was talking about how he had to leave soon to go meet his girlfriend for a date.
as he left the circle to leave, a new person joined and it turned out to be a friend of masons who introduced himself to the whole group.
the new guy was called luke and had decided to take a liking to malia as he kept putting his hand on her lower back while trying to 'get to know her'. malia couldn't see herself but knew that joao was shooting lasers this way.
hee point was proved to be correct as the portugese guy waltzed over.
"i am so sorry to interrupt but i need to steal rosie quickly as kai is stuck in the toilet. silly kai! can't get out and need malias opinion"
before the girl could say anything she was being pulled along towards the toilet.
"which cubicle is he in? kai?" she walked up and down the men's toilet as she thanked the lord that the bar was very quiet.
"oh the one by the bar with sophia where he is sat on a stool with a beer" he casually said while rubbing the back of his neck.
"then why am i here?"
"you know. just for a catch-up" malia raises her eyebrows at him.
"a catch-up in the toilets of the bar even though i spend most my time outside of work with you?"
"sounds about right" he said as convincingly as he could while nodding his head.
malia rolled her eyes before walking up to him and placing one hand on his cheek before kissing him.
"you leave for international break tomorrow so do you want to go back to yours and watch a film?" she suggested as he didn't hesitate to nod his head.
"i thought you would never ask. lead the way, thomas"
