Chelsea removes one of her arms from the nice warm duvet to try and turn off the beeping monstrosity sitting on her bedside table.

"Shhh. Be quiet." Chelsea moans as she fiddles around before huffing and bringing her face out from where it was smooshed against her pillows and looking at the offending alarm clock.
Her dad got the alarm clock for her during the summer holidays because of the number of times she was late for school last year, as she would always press snooze on the alarm on her phone or simply sleep through it.
Chelsea turned off the alarm before trying to snuggle back into her bed. The warm of her duvet cocooned her and the softness of her pillows felt like heaven. Slowly Chelsea found herself slipping back to sleep.
"You better not be going back to sleep in there Chelsea!" Chelsea heard her sister yell from behind her door causing Chelsea's eyes to snap open.
"I'm not!" Chelsea called out, lying through her teeth.
Chelsea sat up from her bed and moved her legs off the side of the bed. She places her feet into her slippers, there is no way that she is going to be touching the cold floor first thing in the morning. Chelsea gets up off her bed and stretches, enjoying the way her back clicks as she lifts her arms above her head.
She moves over to her closet to get out the outfit that she planned to wear to school today. First day back from summer holidays...it was going to be horrid. She places the clothes onto her bed, then she heads towards her bathroom.
Looking in the mirror Chelsea unwrapped her head and allowed her hair to be released from its silk prison. Unlike her sister, Chelsea liked to keep her hair natural, she enjoyed the curls and the bounce that they produced as she walked. It was a little more difficult for her to put her hair up when she did cheerleading than it was for Bonnie, but she could deal with the annoyances. Well...she liked her hair mostly natural...the red hair dye was just a nice added extra.
Chelsea cleaned her face before picking up her cleanser and massaging it into her skin. She always felt a sense of calm overtake her as she went through her daily ritual of her skincare routine. There was something about it that just soothed her, maybe it was the repetitiveness of it, maybe it was the massaging motion, she didn't know but it meant that she always started her day off happy.
Chelsea grabbed her toothbrush and toothpaste and took them out of the bathroom with her, back into her room.
She changed into a low-cut top that showed off her cleavage nicely, some high waisted jeans and a pair of converse over her black socks. She would rather be wearing her pyjamas but unfortunately life was cruel and demands 'actual clothes'.
Once she got dressed Chelsea left her room and headed downstairs, toothbrush and toothpaste in hand.
"Good morning." Her father greeted her when he saw her, "Looking forward for your first day back at school?"
"Not in the slightest, where's...?" Before Chelsea can ask after her sister, she walks into the room takes one look at what's in her hand and immediately starts off.
"You are not doing your teeth in the kitchen sink again! That's disgusting and lazy eat your breakfast and then walk your butt back upstairs to brush your teeth like the rest of us." Bonnie argues.
"It's not lazy. It's ingenious besides I promises last time that I wouldn't use the kitchen sink again...I'm going to use the downstairs lavatory." Chelsea explains.
