Untitled Part 4

Legacy against Fame,

Oh what a shame,

Some of these people we've forgotten,

Have carried a dang blame.

History books try to claim

That it's just U.S history,

and that's enough to get us

Into the world, but honestly?

Want in on a secret that they tell nobody?

It's just a teeny tiny little picture frame.

Legacy, what is a legacy?

What if some of these people we forget had a destiny.

A destiny that was used to help us have the things we have today.

Like the people who helped create paper, free way, and broadway.

Names lost to time, because we were too scared to help and say

That we cared about the people who helped create these things we use every day.

Fame, what exactly is fame?

Tell me why the people whose names we forget take the blame.

They say that the people who have fame,

Aim to proclaim

That where they came from

These people are told that they don't need to have shame.

Legacy against fame,

Who says that any of us are to blame,

For these people losing their fame.
