Soon enough it started to pour down from the skies. The air was an anxious swirl of drops, wind-freed from gravity. The precipitation of it was steady and glacial, the clouds were hanging with fatigue and gazing down to people with a gloomy attitude. The sound of the drizzle was quite soothing to the ears.

"Y/N I just saw Junseok running towards Yeonjun hyung's office. Did something happen?" he demanded worried

"Really? Did you really see him?" you asked agitated

"Yes I did" he responded, but this time his tone had changed

"I think I know what this is about.." he sighed hearing screams through the tampered glass of Yeonjuns door

"Taehyun? Do you know whats going on, I am so confused " you questioned feeling flustered

"Well y/n...can you come down to the food stall right now? I will explain everything" Taehyun declared rushing down the staircase with an umbrella

"Sure I am coming" you said taking off

Resume the talking

"Sorry taehyun I didn't really catch on what you just said" you phrased with uncertainty and quivering eyes

"Yeonjun is Junseok's father and the man you hated so much" he repeated piteously

Tears started to fall down your face just like the niagara waterfalls and you started to sob uncontrollably

Taehyun gave you a pat to give you some comfort

Taehyun knew Junseok was Yeonjun's son since the beginning.
He very hated the fact that he had to give up all of his feelings for his step brother.

However his feelings towards Junseok were pure, he truly treasured him as his own child and wanted the best for him.

He wanted to be the best uncle ever, someone Junseok could rely on in his father's absence

So he decided that he didn't want to make him wait anymore and sent the DNA results to Junseok

He didn't want to see him hurt anymore just because he couldn't find his father

...

"Taehyun, I need you to drink three more glasses" you babbled with flushed rosy cheeks

"Y/N you should stop now, you have drunk enough" he said worried

"noooo todaäy I will dirink tílll I drop deadddd" you shouted carelessly

Taehyun watched you while you poured him a drink

What if that day he came, what if that day he was the one you poured a drink to

things would be different wouldn't it?

"Taehyun, I am really messed up ain't I?" she looked at him dolorously

"I fell for the man I hate so much, isn't this just unfair? Isn't it cruel?" you cried your heart out

Taehyun looked at you hopelessly, there was nothing he could do

...

"Taxi driver!" Taehyun called for a cab to drop you off home

"Please drop her off at this address please, Thank you sir" saying that he fixed his gaze at the taxi cab taking its leave

His feelings were put aside a long time ago, he promised himself that he wouldn't intervene

Almost like a scene from a movie
He just kept playing a supporting role

...

The steely coffee - coloured door unlatched at a slow pace

As you came into your apartment the remote pavement welcomed you

You almost ended up carelessly crawling on to the floor because of how bad your alcohol tolerance was.

However, Yeonjun sat up from his stance  and rushed to you, trying to get a hold of you before you met the floor, but your hand shook his hand off which startled him

You both looked at each other

He examined your wasted face and noticed how your eyes were full of his betrayal

Yeonjun tried to speak but you took over him

"Why did it have to be you, out of all people huh? This is so ridiculous" you started to hollow laugh while gripping onto your chest

Your puffed eyes were tainted cerise and had a salty torrent of tears that wouldn't stop running down your beautiful face

He gazed upon you silently trying to say something but instead he looked back down spacing out completely

Just being in the same room as him made you feel pathetic and pitiful

The atmosphere was so bitter and suffocating that you couldn't breathe

You needed some time alone by yourself

"Yeonjun I wish you never cameback, you know I was living pretty well before you came. Why did you have to pretend you loved me and pretend to be so caring when it was all for you to get my son back...I'd hoped you had some feelings for me but I was wrong.."
you spoke in tears completely exhausted,
you slowly started to take steps towards your room being completely numb

Yeonjun stood in front of the main entrance with his head low without speaking any words, he felt guilt, he was ashamed of himself. Yeonjun thought he was a monster who deserved to die
