Friday night was fully of surprises. Every night before I went to bed I would always replay that memory.

Mama K and Papa K were out of town the next weekend and they were having a party. Edin and I were getting ready. She was wearing a Keep Rolling Graphic Crop Tee with Floral Embroidery Flare Leg Jeans. I wore a Button Up Beige Halter Waistcoat Top with Denim Raw Hem Lace Up Drawstring Flared Jeans. Edin and I both wore brown shin high boots.

    As we made our way into the house it was filled with people I've saw around campus. I walked into the kitchen to see Danny talking with a girl. I grabbed a solo cup from the counter and found the Jack Daniels and filled up my cup. Danny walked over, bumping my hip.

    "Hey Addie." He said bringing me into a hug. "Hey Dan." I said embracing his hug. I've always liked his hugs, they are so comforting.

    I looked around the room as Dannys arm rested around my shoulder. "Do you want to do shots?" He asked yelling over the music. "Yeah." I responded.

    He walked across the kitchen, sliding past a few people. He grabbed two shot glasses out of the cabinet and brought them back over. He poured tequila into them and handed one to me. We both threw them back, burning our throats. "Atta girl!" He said happily. I just started laughing.

    We left the shot glasses on the counter and he led me through the crowd to the living room where there were a few people leaning up against the walls and then Sam, sitting on the couch with a girl.

    Danny brought me out to the back porch, there were some boys tackling each other in the grass. Danny and I just laughed at the sight. Someone came running up the stairs of the porch. I looked at it was Josh. "Hey Ad." He said bringing me into a side hug. "Hey J." I said pulling away from his embrace.

    "Have yall seen Jake?" He asked Danny and I. We both shook our heads No.

    We all made small talk before Josh went back looking for Jake. Danny and I continued to watch the people wrestle but we were now. In the grass watching from the side. Danny had his arm perched on my shoulder.

    I heard splashes in the water towards the woods. Everyone stopped wrestling and talking. The crowd made their way into the woods towards the river. The two girls and a guy jumped in, one of the girls was Edin.

    "Get in, it feels so good." She exclaimed. "No, Edin." I said. She swam over to Danny and I, we tried to reach for her but I ended up falling in. I came backup from under the water and both Edin and Danny were laughing. Danny offered me his hand which I took but I pulled him into the water to.

    "Not funny Adiline." He said tugging on my hair. I just laughed at how he was frustrated with me.

    I heard Sam, Josh, and Jakes voice. "Hey guys!" I said happily as Danny, Edin, and I just swam in circles, all of our hand intertwined. "What the hell." Sam said with a smile on his face. "Get in." I said breaking the connection with Danny and Edin.

    "No way Addie." He said squatting down next to the river. "Come on." He offered me his hand. I took his hand and pulled him in; like I did with Danny. "Adiline!" He exclaimed pushing my head underwater. I came back up and started laughing.

    "Your not funny." Sam said swimming towards me. We were only inches away. I wrapped my legs around his waist as he wrapped his arms around mine. "Hmm." I hummed tilting my head back and looking at the trees above.

    Eventually more people has jumped in, including Josh and Jake. I never released my hold from Sam but I wrapped my arms around his neck.

    "What's going on here?" Josh said swimming over to us. "Nothings going on." Sam said his grip on my waist getting tighter. "Then what's with the holding each other thing?" Josh asked smirking. "Mm." I hummed looking back at Sam. "What do you mean?" I asked jokingly.

    Josh eventually swam away because we wouldn't say what he wanted to hear. "Are you staying here?" He asked resting his head on my shoulder. "If I can sleep with you tonight." I said running my hair through his wet hair. "Hm, yeah." He said into my ear.

    I had let go of Sam and he let go of me but he was still holding my hand. I looked back at him as I tried to swim away. "Come on." I said swimming toward the group in the water. He swam over next to me and we were in the group. He was sitting on a large rock, I sat in his lap as his arm naturally wrapped around my waist.

    We observed people and what people were doing until Danny came up and sat in my lap. Then Jake came and sat in Danny's lap, and eventually Edin came over and sat in Jake's lap with Josh in ear lap. "I can't hold all of yall!" Sam said laughing. "But you are!" Edin said.

    Josh, Edin, and Jake got off and swam back over to the crowd but Danny was still in my lap. "You have to share, he's mine too." Danny said wrapping his arms around Sam's neck. I let out a hearty laugh. "I think one person can have him, which is me." I said poking Danny's chest.

    Danny swam away and Sam looked at me and smirked. "I'm yours?" He asked. "Oh yeah!" I said letting out a small laugh. "Well your mine." He said nuzzling his head into my neck.

    "Oh hey, Sammy." A girl called over to him. He lifted his head a little bit and he groaned. The girl came over and he smile dropped when she seen me in his lap. "I thought I was the only one." She said pouting. "I never liked you, how many times do I have to tell you?" He asked rolling his eyes.

    I shifted uncomfortably in his lap but he held onto me tighter. "He's just going to use you." She said to me before swimming away. "Are you?" I asked looking at him. "No, I would never do that." He said putting one of his hands over my hand that rested on his chest.

    "I don't want to loose you again." He said. My eye's widened, my heart was beating fast, my body became hot. I leaned in and kissed him passionately. I was the one to pull away. He smiled at me before nuzzling his head into my neck. "Let's go to bed."
