The Awakening

On April's second day, the world awakes,
From slumber deep, as morning breaks,
And in the light of dawn, we see,
A world reborn, fresh and free.

The birds, they sing in chorus sweet,
A symphony of life, a joyful beat,
And in their song, we hear the call,
To rise and shine, to give our all.

The trees, they stir with gentle breeze,
Their leaves aflutter, like a dance with ease,
And in their rustling, we feel the stir,
Of nature's rhythm, wild and pure.

The sun, it rises with golden light,
A symbol of hope, that banishes night,
And in its warmth, we find the strength,
To face the day, with courage at length.

So let us embrace this April morn,
With open hearts, and spirits born,
Anew with each new dawn that breaks,
And see the world, as it awakes.

For life is but a wondrous gift,
A chance to grow, to heal, to lift,
And on this day, we feel the call,
To awaken, to rise, to give our all.
