CHAPTER10

Time flies so fast nga talaga. I am now standing at the stage nakikipag hand shake sa mga higher ups at hawak hawak ang diploma sa gilid. Graduation day ko ngayon ng Senior High School. I passed Grade 11 and Grade 12. I passed research and defense. I passed all those hardships.

I was able to manage my time, handle all those pressures, those hardships. I may not be an honor student but I at least made it through without failing any subjects.

My Parents may not be here because of our business, at least I have him. The one who helped me through all of this. The one who helped me when I was on my lowest. The man I love, so much.

"Congratulations!" Our President said, I smiled and thanked him bago bumaba ng stage at bumalik sa pwesto ko. and I saw him sa bleachers side. Taking pictures of me kaya nag wacky ako.

I'm so lucky to have him in my life. He completes my life. He brings color to my colorless-lifeless life. He started courting me since that day.

"Rend, 2:50 na." I stroked his hair habang naka sandal pa rin siya saakin, nilalaro ung mga daliri ko.

"Just a little more time.." Mas isiniksik niya ang kanyang ulo sa balikat ko kaya medyo nakiliti ako na ikinatawa naman niya. Maya maya ay narinig ko siyang bumuntong hininga ng apaka lalim saka umalis na sa pagkakasandal saakin at pumirmi.

Tumayo na siya at ganoon din ako dahil ang akala ko ay aalis na siya papunta ng Music Room pero laking gulat ko ng bigla siyang lumuhod sa harapan ko at may kinuha sa kanyang bulsa. Isa itong kahon at ng binuksan niya ito ay bungad nito'y singsing.

"Cammy, I know i've been giving you mixed signals these past few weeks and I'm sorry for that, i'm doubting myself kasi kung worthy ba ako for you pero I still have no answer for that pero I'll make myself worthy for you along the way. Cammy, Pwede ba kitang ligawan?" Rend's eyes and voice are full of sincerity pero halatado rin sa boses niyang kinakabahan siya.

I don't know what to feel and say. I'm so.. overwhelmed by all this. This sudden confession of his.

Bumuntong hininga ako saka tumango tango't hinawakan ang mga kamay nyang inilalahad pa rin saakin ang kahong may lamang sising sabay sabing "Yes, Rend. You may court me for as long as you want!" I smiled.

Rend smiled too saka tumayo na't niyakap ako saka isinuot ang singsing.

I took a closer look at the ring and you can tell na it's not that expensive pero who cares? It's the effort that matters.

"Pasok na raw! 3 na! Next subject na EAPP!" Jan announced-no broadcast mula pa sa classroom. Napatawa nalang ako.

Panira ng moment, Ang lakas lakas ng boses.

Napatawa rin si Rend saka kinuha ang kamay ko't hinalikan ito bago nagpaalam na umalis para pumunta na ng Music Room at ako naman ay sa Classroom.

Remembering such a memorable memory in this situation is just, how should I say.. Nice?

I may be a little sad ngayon since wala ang parents ko but it's fine. I prefer this, them not here. Kasi sure ako ipapahiya lang nila ako by scolding me na hindi with honor. They literally don't care if may tao basta mapagalitan nila ako.

After makapag martsa lahat ng mga estudyante sa stage ay tinawag ang per sections para sa final picture taking sa harap. Chorale were also called to sing the Final song for us kaya umalis ako sa upuan ko at pumunta sa harap - ganon din ang Chorale graduates na kasama ko.

I smiled at him when we met. "Hi" I greeted him saka pumunta na sa pwesto ko. Sa harap ako at sa likod ko lang siya. Our Final Song will be A Million Dreams. Marsha, Ate Tin, Me at Neil ay ang mag so-solo sa kantang ito.
