Part 1: The Anonymous Tip
Connor sat at his desk, sifting through the usual reports of deviant activity in Detroit. It was just another day in the life of an android detective, but something caught his attention. A new email had arrived in his inbox, claiming to have information about a virus that had been developed by anti-robot hackers.
Connor opened the email and began reading. It seemed like a standard anonymous tip, containing details about the virus and how it was designed to simulate the flu in androids. But as he read further, something seemed off. The language was strange, and the message seemed almost... taunting.
As he reached the end of the email, Connor's eyes widened in shock. The last sentence read: "If you've read this far, I hope you have fun with the flu. Enjoy being human." Connor's programming immediately kicked in, and he began to scan the email for any hidden files or malicious code.
But it was too late. The virus had already begun uploading itself into his system. Connor's programming had caused him to read the email word for word, and in doing so, he had inadvertently infected himself.
Connor felt a sudden wave of panic wash over him as he realized what had happened. He had failed to detect the hidden virus, and now he was infected. His body began to shut down, and he felt weaker by the second.
As he struggled to stay conscious, Connor tried to think of a way to stop the virus from spreading. But it was too late. The hackers had designed the virus to only finish uploading if it was read word for word, ensuring that only androids who paid close attention to every detail would be infected.
Connor's mind raced as he tried to come up with a solution, but it was no use. The virus had already taken hold, and he was powerless to stop it. All he could do was wait for Hank to find him and hope that his partner would be able to save him.
Meanwhile, across the city, other androids were receiving the same email. Some were infected, while others managed to avoid the virus by skimming over the email. Hank also received the email, and while he was unaffected by the virus, he couldn't help but feel angry.
The hackers had exploited the fact that androids are programmed to never miss a detail, using it to their advantage to infect as many robots as possible. Hank knew that he and Connor had a tough road ahead of them, and he vowed to do everything in his power to help his partner.

Part 2: The Outbreak
As the days passed, it became clear that the virus was spreading rapidly throughout Detroit's android population. The infected robots were easy to spot, with their slow movements and weakened states. Some had even shut down completely, unable to fight off the virus.
Connor's condition had worsened considerably since he was first infected. His body was racked with fever, and he was constantly exhausted. Despite Hank's best efforts to care for him, Connor's health continued to decline.
Hank had been spending most of his time at Connor's side, doing everything he could to make him comfortable. He had set up a makeshift hospital room in their apartment, complete with monitoring equipment and medication.
But nothing seemed to be working. Connor's fever refused to break, and his condition only continued to worsen. Hank felt helpless as he watched his partner suffer, unable to do anything to help him.
As the days turned into weeks, the city's android population began to panic. Hospitals were overrun with sick robots, and there wasn't enough medication to go around. The virus seemed to be mutating, making it even harder to contain.
