Elena: Goddess of Jotunheim

Epilogue: Jotunheim

Elena's POV

So it's been about a year since the battle and I began my goddess training. Dad and I managed to convince Odin to release Loki to our custody. So he came with us to the moon that orbits Jotunheim. To our palace of ice. Which looks amazing. You'd think it being made of ice, it'd be slippery. But it's not, we can walk with ease without fear of losing our footing. But we can also slide down the hall way if we want to.

Loki is free to roam the palace and has helped me a lot with my powers. In fact, if not for him. I would of never of created my first living ice creature. Winter. She was the size of a kitten when I created her, but now the size of a full grown cat. Loki spends most of his time human, but I do see him as a frost giant occasionally.

I haven't been back to Earth since the battle. And I feel a little guilty about that. Especially as no doubt Father had his newest son now. I'd love to meet my new adopted baby brother. But Thor takes them letters for me and brings letters and photos back. I've gotten closer to my own dad though. But also to a certain God of Mischief, much to my dad's disapproval.

Right now I'm chilling on a balcony over looking the mountain landscape. As I read a book. With Winter laying beside me. Dad was on Asgard talking to Odin about something. Winter suddenly raises her head. Alert.

"Hello Loki" I say.

"How did you know it was me?" he asks as he joins me on the window seat.

"My dad is on Asgard with yours and aside from Winter & myself. You're the only other person on this moon" I state.

"You got me there" he says with a chuckle.  "What are you reading?" he asks as he pulls me into his chest. I sigh in content.

"A book on the Casket of Ancient Winters" I state.

"Boring, how about we do something fun?" he suggests.

"Like what?" I ask as I close the book.

"Well we've been here nearly a year, why not go explore this moon" he suggests.

"Guess that'd be fun" I say with a smile. We put on warmer clothes, though neither of us really felt the cold. Before leaving the palace with Winter. "So when should we tell my dad about our relationship?" I ask Loki. As Winter runs ahead catching snowflakes.

"I thought you wanted to keep it a secret until he is ok with our friendship" he states.

"I did, but recently I've been thinking it's better to rip the band-aid off, so to speak" I tell him.

"He'll probably banish me back to Asgard and we'll never meet again" he states.

"I wouldn't let him do that" I tell him. "Loki, I like you a lot and I want us to be together openly. I also want you be free to go wherever you want" I state. "Without this thing" I mutter touching the bangle on his wrist. That stops him from using magic.

"Things will be better" he assures me as he laces his fingers with mine.

"I hope so" I state.

(Time skip)

"Loki, Elena!" Heimdell calls  surprising us. "Your presence is required on Asgard" he states.

"But I'm banished" Loki states.

"It's be order of Odin" Heimdell states. I call Winter over. Loki told Heimdell we're ready. Rainbow lights surround us and we're suddenly in front of Heimdell on Asgard. "Welcome back to Asgard Princess Elena, Loki" he says.

"Thank you Heimdell" I say. Just then my father appears.

"Follow me" he says and we do so. We're soon in the throne room. In front of Odin.

"Loki, step forward" he says. Loki does so, while I stay beside my father. "I'm sure you are wondering why you've been summoned here" he states. "It's been a year since your sentence and today is your parole hearing" he explains. "So lets revive the facts and your behaviour from the past year" he states.

An hour later. It's time for Odin to announce his decision. "After much deliberation. I've decided to grant your parole" he states banging his staff on the ground. A guard steps forward and removes the bangle from Loki's wrist. "Use your freedom wisely" he states.

"Loki!" I cheer and run forward. He catches me as I hug him. "I'm so happy for you" I state.

"Couldn't of done it without you" he tells me and kisses me. I kiss back. Before remembering where we are. I pull way. "I guess the cat is out of the bag" he mutters sheepishly.

"Elena, meeting now" my dad orders.

"Loki, a word" Frigga says.

"Wish me luck" I tell Loki.

"I think I need it more" he states.

"Good luck" we say together. I leave with my dad.

"So how long has this been going on?" he asks as we walk through Asgard.

"About five months" I admit. "Before you ask, I made the first move and no we haven't had sex" I state.

"Good, I am not ready to be a grandfather" he states. "Does he make you happy?" he asks.

"Very much so" I tell him.

"Then I give my blessing, but know if he hurts you. His mother will be the least of his worries" he tells me.

"He won't hurt me" I assure him.

"Good, by the way good luck telling Barton about this" he tells me.

"He'll react worse then you" I mutter.

"At least you won't have to see his reaction in person" he tells me.

"That's true" I say. "I'll go write a letter for Thor to give him" I state.

"Good luck" he says and I went to the library. I write a letter. Then find a book and relax on a window seat reading it.

"Here you are" Loki says as he joins me.

"How did it go with your mum?" I ask curious.

"Already planing a wedding" he states. "Your dad?" he asks.

"Gave his blessing" I state. "Though I doubt my father will" I add.

"Good thing he's not here" he states. "I spoke to your dad and we'll be returning to Jotunheim in a couple of days" he tells me. "Until then, I thought I could give you a tour of Asgard" he states.

"Love that idea" I tell him with a smile. The next couple days were lovely. Thor was very happy for Loki and I. Though father and the other Avengers weren't thrilled with the idea. But I'm sure they'll come around. We then returned to the moon of Jotunheim. Where we lived happily ever after together.
