'Felicity' was all sunshine
And love
And windy, minty breeze
But she
Was also astute,
And sharp,
And apt.
And knew
What the 'Pessimist'
Supposedly didn't:
She'd leave him,
Find a new place,
Move the fuck on
And restart,
If he visualized
A future
With his ex.
She would do it
'Cause she knew
It would mean
The whole damn world to him,
The whole damn world to me;
To a 'Pessimist' no longer.
