story 1- the suprise

Shuichi was busy working on a case, poring over evidence and trying to piece together the clues. He was so focused on his work that he didn't even notice when Kokichi slipped into the room, a mischievous glint in his eye.

"Hey, Shuichi!" Kokichi called out, making the other boy jump.

"What are you doing here, Kokichi?" Shuichi asked, a little annoyed at the interruption.

"I just wanted to bring you a surprise!" Kokichi said, holding out a small box.

Shuichi eyed the box suspiciously. He knew better than to trust anything Kokichi gave him without investigating it thoroughly first.

"What's in the box?" he asked, trying to keep his tone neutral.

Kokichi just grinned and pushed the box towards Shuichi. "Open it and find out!"

With a sigh, Shuichi reluctantly took the box and carefully opened it. Inside, he found a small, heart-shaped cake with pink frosting and sprinkles.

"What's this?" he asked, looking up at Kokichi in confusion.

"It's a cake, silly!" Kokichi said, still grinning.

Shuichi couldn't help but smile at the sight of the cake. It was such a sweet and unexpected gesture, coming from someone like Kokichi.

"Thank you, Kokichi," he said, feeling a warmth in his chest.

Kokichi's grin widened. "You're welcome, Shuichi. I wanted to do something nice for you."

Shuichi couldn't help but feel a little bit touched by Kokichi's gesture. Maybe there was more to the Ultimate Supreme Leader than met the eye.

As he took a bite of the cake, he realized that it was actually pretty delicious. He looked up at Kokichi and saw the other boy watching him with a pleased expression.

"Did you make this yourself, Kokichi?" Shuichi asked, impressed.

Kokichi just shrugged. "I might have had a little help from the kitchen staff."

Shuichi chuckled. "Well, it's still a nice surprise. Thank you again, Kokichi."

Kokichi just smiled and leaned in closer to Shuichi. "Anytime, Shuichi. I'm always happy to surprise you."
