"You've gotta focus, y/n. The exam covers most of this material, so let's run through it again."
Through pursed lips you sigh, flipping back and fourth throughout your textbook desperately trying to remember anything you may have read within these last few weeks. Studying was much easier said than done, especially with how clouded your mind was over everything that had happened earlier— the dreaded conversation you had with Jean and the fight you had with Eren that occurred immediately after was easily consumed by every square inch of your brain. Your Philosophy exam was the furthest thing from focus at this point.
Luckily Armin stayed true to his promise, agreeing to help you study after you had gotten yourself settled into his home. His intelligence was unmatched, hearing him rapidly fire off the answers to questions you could hardly even understand— his eyes steeled as he would ask another, waiting for you to give the appropriate response which unfortunately was the wrong one, most of the time.
"Alright, ready for another one?" He asks, glancing at the hefty study packet while he gently chews on the end of his ballpoint pen— pondering about which question to give you next.
