While a heart blooms under the shadows,
Casted from the rustling of the leaves,
Upon meadows where no grass e'er grows,
Upon the light with the life it weaves,
While a heart blooms under the shadows,
Trapped beneath the young stars on your hair,
Upon moonlight, within your eyes, flows,
Upon galaxies in skin so fair,
While a heart blooms under the shadows,
Looming o'er your eyes that see my world,
Found in the reflection your eye sows,
Upon when you stare at mine so bold,
While a heart blooms under the shadows,
Guarding the secrets our tongues had shared,
Upon the words sung with the winds' howls,
Upon the lovely three words we'd told,
While a heart bloomed under the shadows,
Casted by our young souls, and none else,
Upon our hidden, windswept sorrows,
Upon fingers that lit our farewells.
