After the incident in the music room, i thought maybe he liked me too. until one day, i heard him talking with Lauren and Ciara in an empty classroom. so i leaned in to listen
"So you like Kendra, Don't you?"
"what are you talking about? she's off limits and i only see her as a friend"
"Dude you are a terrible liar" Ciara thought
Those words were enough for me to accept the truth, that cedric will just be my dream to distract myself, i invited Lauren and Ciara for a sleep over and she was trying on some of my favorite clothes while Ciara was beside me laying on my bed.
i couldn't help but admire how beautiful she was. Just then I found her smirking at me in the mirror.
"Are you falling in love" she asked
"What? No, I'm just wish i was as pretty as you"
"Oh, honey, you are prettier than me not to mention cute"
She moved back and ended up knocking on my drawers, spilling some things but there was one thing that suddenly caught my attention, a peanut
"What was it doing there"
Suddenly,i remembered Kevin calling me a peanut before he ran away.
"Why don't we crack it open" Ciara suggested walking towards the peanut picking it up.
"Maybe he left a secret message in there" Lauren adds
And he actually did and the message was.
"I'm finally alive"
Wait a minute that night before he left he asked me what makes me feel alive
The next day. Lauren, Ciara and I then came up with a mission to find the answer to that question
"Your brother is too mysterious sometimes" Lauren said
I love a good detective movie and maybe Cedric know something" Ciara adds
But unfortunately, he was useless.
One day, dad called me to his office and stated asking about Lauren
"I learned that she's dating your brother, her parents and i are talking about a very important business deal, we will have dinner with them tomorrow night, make sure to be extra attentive to her"
I thought it wouldn't be much of a problem until they decided to marry us off with dad knowing that i was Kendra. He was crazier than i thought

"I don't know if he's ever coming back, i can't believe you're dating and idiot"
"Watch your words, honey that's my idiot"
