We walked into pyramid and I was hoping miss Abby was in a good mood because at my home mom called Abby to check in with her and Abby sounded mad

Abby:this weekend we was at prominence Rhode Island an hour outside of Boston and the most prestigious dance studios of the country are there Tough school tough competitors and you really held your own
You killed it I'm very proud of all of you and your moms
NOW let's talk about this weeks competition we are going to star power

I was happy I was at the top
"Lani you are at the top because your not that comfortable with lyrical but you was close to 1st place so that's why you are at the top"Miss abby said
Abby said that we are going to pack in front of her and we have to work harder then me every had
We was taking like a class
When miss Abby was hitting Maddie's arm I started laughing
I also had a solo called 'Moving light' It was Advance and it was based off of the after life
Maddie also has and I think almost everyone has a solo
During practice maddies mom came in and told us cracked up dawn is here that's what mom calls her
While nia was practicing I was in dance jail with mom and the other moms
Abby was waving at mom to get her to come down to studio A so I went with here
"I need to talk to you privately"Abby said
"Okay,what is it"Mom said "I want to take Lani to a different competition to do another solo or she could just do two solos at starpower on a different day"Abby said
"She can do it on a different day at starpower"
Mom said "Okay so I'm going to take her for privates later on and teach her it"Abby said

After practicing everything Abby gave us our packing list everyone's was the same but mine she had 'second costume' mom told me she was going to carry my second costume for me so none sees it
Cathy and Abby was arguing over where Cathy packing
"LANI GO GET YOUR CHAIR"mom yelled
I went and got my chair for the group
After we practiced the group it was costume time I was first
"Lani here's your costume"

Mom loved it I thought it was pretty but I like my shadows costume better miss abby gave my my other solo costume
"I want her hair in a French twist"Abby said
Mom just nodded

At home!
When I got home mom showed me my other costume

And I also learned it was called 'water ways'
Mom had me practice it in the living room
"Lani smile don't act sad"Mom said
After that I went to bed

                    Competition day!
We got onto the bus and I sat with my bags and went to sleep but I got woken up by Abby yelling at the bus driver When Abby was asleep paige but a gummy worm in her mouth it was funny then we had arrived at the competition
Abby signed us in and then we went into the dressing room
On the first day we just had the group and my solo was to day I changed into the group costume
Maddie was acting weird I don't know why
We eventually went to backstage

(You are in the middle of nia and Chloe sitting on the chair with your leg up and when they drag them you are between nia and Brooke)

Mom took me to the costume contest
Mom had me in my moving light costume and she put a random pin into my hair it was pretty tho

And then we went to awards for the group and then it was solo awards we had won 2nd which I knew Abby wasn't going to be happy about that
When mom finished my hair she gave me a pin to put into my hair
I loved how I looked
It's looked very pretty I think I've changed my mind this has to be my favorite costume
And then I went back stage with maddie Maddie's solo was first

After Maddie's solo it was mine

I went with mom to the audience and watched the other girls
Later on mom had found out I had won the costume contest
Maddie won miss petite and I had got a best dressed award and crown I don't really know why they would give a crown tho
Then the next day I did my other solo and won miss petite
After all of that we went back onto the bus and headed home
