I was surprised that Maddie was behind me and Chloe Kenzie had a solo so did Maddie Chloe and me The group was called 'born to dance'
Miss Abby dismissed the moms and then we stretched The group was a little weird "LANI DONT BEND YOU KNEE THAT LOOKS CRAZY"Miss abby yelled
~~~~~~~~~~~ It was the second day of practice and I was learning my solo today My solo was a jazz piece called 'Wrong party' It was fun and entertaining Mom got to make my costume this time which was also very fun ~~~~~~~~~~~~ It was the third day of practicing and Brooke wasn't there The group wasn't the best but we only had a couple of minutes before it was competition day Miss Abby dismissed kendal Nia and Paige She told the soloist to run their dance
~~~~~~~~~~~~ Miss Abby wasn't on the bus for a little time and then she finally came Paige Brooke and Kelly didn't come to the competition Cathy started to call Melissa and Cathy was going to the same competition as us Last time Cathy was here Mom and her had a fight so We had arrived at the competition Mom did my makeup for the solos because the group was canceled from what I heard I think put my costume on

My costume wasn't the best but it didn't matter Mackenzie's solo was first

Abby's pov Lani was perfect I want to say she was even better then Maddie which I don't say a lot but she nailed that solo She was fun and entertaining She should be proud of herself If Maddie or Chloe beats her I will be shocked She won here at nationals and she should also be known for being the first place winner every time here ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Mackenzie won her age division and I was very happy for her Maddie came in 3rd which was weird and I placed as second and Chloe won first and I didn't care that I didn't win I was just happy for Chloe
Abby's pov I was shocked that Chloe beat Maddie and Lani So I decided to check the scores Chloe beat Lani with a 289.5 and Lani had a 289.5 so they had the same score so I checked in with the host "So How did Chloe beat Lani because they had the same score"I asked "Well we was decided on who to give the win too so we just picked the first performance that had the score first"They said "Both of the girls are from the abby Lee dance company and I am their teacher and I was wondering if you could replace Lani as the winner"I said "We could do that"They said ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Miss Abby had came in and told me that I had actually won first place but I wasn't that excited because I wanted Chloe to win I let her keep the trophy because I felt bad that they had switched our places It was now time for the group Cathy's was first
Viviana was like a bug moving everywhere The group was next

The dance wasn't the same without Brooke but I think we pulled it off Now it was group awards Cathy's placed 8th Which made me smile and laugh We placed as first without Brooke which didn't make the win feel good but at least we won Miss Abby had us tell her team goo job Then they started to talk about a costume "Cathy you can't do your going to have the price for the costume"Mom said "You need to pay the judges for that horrible costume you had your kid wear"Cathy said "Don't talk about my kids costume when you really need to talk to your team on how y'all got 8th place"Mom said Here we go again Mom and Cathy started to get into a fight and Holly had to pull mom out of it But after all that it was a good competition
