Day 15 Prompt: Obligation
Title: Fifteen
Fortune favours the brave, delaying an inevitable visit to the grave.
In the past, this was a reference to battle-worn heroes, earned in the name of good.
Futuristic perceptions are different, although nothing has changed beneath society's veneer.
The reference now relates to those anti-heroes who have amassed a fortune.
Every generation works out new ways of giving with one hand and taking with the other.
Existentially, there is still no sense of moral obligation, just like in fairy tales.
Neverland doesn't change, people remain trapped in a never-ending rat race.
