cho-yeong's pov

i walked through the hallway where other students are swarming at while searching or messing with their friends. my shoulder was bumped with tae-man's who yelled out an apology and went to headlock the poor yeong-shin not far ahead of me

i sighed, shaking my head at the amount of chaos i had to witness early in the morning . the napkin in my hand was folded neatly, wanting to get rid of it faster before anyone could misunderstand it

if any of them had seen me with su-cheol together yesterday, i will see myself off from a tall building

i walked into the classroom, smiling at yu-jeong who was writing something at the blackboard as usual and searched for the napkin's owner. i sighed upon the view of him trying to draw his best friend's face, knowing well that the attempt will only result in an ugly drawing

"hey" was the only thing i said to gain his attention and threw the napkin to his chest. he caught it in a startled state, nearly dropping his pencil while trying to catch the fabric

"what's this?"

"your napkin. i told you i'll wash it yesterday" i answered in a lazy tone, looking at woo-taek who was smirking upon our conversation. i rolled my eyes, throwing his pencil that was sitting on his desk to his face

"hey, you-"

i ignored him, looking at su-cheol who was leaning his arm on the table, his gaze glued on my face with a smile

"thanks" i scoffed at the flirty tone, walking away to avoid any more interactions with him. na-ra who noticed the interaction between us raised a brow with a questioning face

"okay, listen- we're not doing whatever you're thinking. he bought me food, that's all" i quickly deny it as she asked

"what's the napkin for, then?" i sighed, plopping my head on the table while still facing her

"you know how i dislike having people treat me without getting anything back? yeah, um... i bought him an ice-cream and he gave me the napkin to avoid mess. that's all" she looked at me with a 'are you sure?' look as i rolled my eyes
