RAIVEN WATCHED HIM get on top of the boy and send straight punches to his face, she ran towards them and then a girl ran up and pushed her on the floor
"get your psycho ass boyfriend off my man" the girl said and Raiven just got up and punched her dead in the mouth and they started fighting also
Everyone watched them two fight, his friends cheering them on, her best friend looks proud, the cafeteria was chaos and finally adults came and separated them.
"Blood and weave on the floor this shit ghetto" horace laughed
They were brought into the office and were told to sit and wait until their parents arrive and he immediately rushed to her side
"you okay mama ?!" he asked searching for scratches, marks or bruises and she nodded
"yeah, i don't even think she got a hit in" raiven mumbled making him laugh then he grabbed her hands and examined them
"they busted up from fighting, they gon bruise but you'll be good if you put ice on it" he told her and she nodded, she feels like he thinks this is her first fight but his concern is amusing to her so she won't say anything
"your hands look worse. you okay ?!" she asked him and he nodded
"yeah ion really remember fighting him after i punched him, i just couldn't sit there and let him speak about you that way, and especially in my face ?! nah" he answered
"yo parents gon be mad mama ?!"
"probably not. my parents think i'm soft so whenever i get in trouble they fake scold me in front of staff members but in reality they're happy that i have a backbone" she answered and he nodded
"my momma might trip, she might not but ion really give a fuck, as long as you good" he told her and she nodded but then her eyebrows furrowed
"what are you being so nice to me ?!" she asked him and he shrugged
"ion kno' you seem like someone i ca' be around, and you ain't got no other friends so i'll be ya friend" he answered and scoffed
"i actually have a best friend" she retorted making him laugh
"that hoe that was wit you ?! nah that ain't yo friend i see through allat" he said but she just waved him off
20 minutes later their parents arrived and the principal came out
"okay so Ms. Anderson and Mr. Hassen both started a fight in the cafeteria and i would hope one of them wanted to explain why" the principal said with an irritated tone and Kentrell just shrugged
"w-we didn't start the fight" Raiven mumbled, she hated being scolded by adults it made her feel belittled
"what's that ?! you can start a fight and break a girls nose but you can't speak loud" the principal responded with attitude making Raiven be quiet instantly before she started to cry
"don't talk ta ha like that, she said we ain't start the fight and she ain't lying' that nigga came up in my face talking shit about ha and ha dead brother so i beat his ass, that bitch put ha hands on Raiven so she whooped that bitch ass, that's it, that's all. if y'all gon suspend us do it, why we gotta talk fa" kentrell explained irritated and concerned about Raiven
"wait. so if those students taunted these two then why aren't they in here ?! he got in that boys face talking shit about my daughter and he's not in here ?! that girl put her hands on my daughter and she's not in here ?! they were the aggressors why aren't their parents here ?!" Raiven's father spoke
"yeah and how does anyone even know about her brother ?! i know my daughter and i know that she doesn't go around telling anyone about him" her mother added on
"because they told everyone in the cafeteria during lunch, the principal made an announcement so people ca' be aware not ta trigger ha but that just made all these asshole want to trigger ha purposely so i had to beat that nigga ass" kentrell said
"and why y'all keep calling me outta work fa this boy ?! i told y'all if he fights just suspend him and send his ass home, you don't gotta call me to pick him up, i know he's terrible i raised his bad ass" kentrells mother spoke
"and i'm sorry ta hear that you being taunted fa losing your brother, these kids around hea ain't got no typa manners or nothing that's why i don't care that my son be fighting because i kno' he only fights when he needs to, i'm proud that he stood up fa a stranger" she added on
"well i had no idea that she was being taunted, i'll handle the situation accordingly.. i won't suspend you guys but you will have detention for the next two weeks for fighting in general, i don't condone bullying so this situation will be handled and the two other students will be suspended" the principal said making them all nod and get up
"what's yo number mama ?!" he asked her while handing her his phone as their parents continued to speak with the principal
she took his phone and put her number in it then gave it to it
"ima text you, you betta respond" he told her and she nodded
"okay" she mumbled
"come on Raiven let's go home" her mother said and she followed her parents out of the building and they got into the car
"who's that boy fighting over you ?!" my father asked
"some boy i met today. and he wasn't fighting over me the guy was being rude" she answered
"no boys. EVER" he said and she rolled her eyes
time skip
it's been two weeks today is their last day in after school detention and they're just sitting and talking
"so did you think about it ?!" he asked her
"i don't know if that's a good idea" she mumbled
yesterday Kentrell asked Raiven if she wanted to come over to his house today after detention and she told him that she'd think about it
"why not ?! are we fucking ?! no.. and i'm not finna harm you i just wanna see you outside of school i just wanna get ta kno' my new friend" he protested and she sighed
"okay fine but no funny shit" she said and he got excited
"okay we'll go as soon as we get up out this bitch"
