This is a cover art for Chapter 35 of the manga sequel Die! The Island of Giant Insects (aka Dai Kyochuu Rettou) and it features Hyoue Nakumo's little sister and seemingly an influential person on Tatsuno Kami Island. Who doesn't agree that watermelon is the perfect summer snack.
This has been my best manga coloring yet and I was proud of the final results.
So, as I posted it on my Twitter, the author actually retweeted and left me a positive comment on my post! Can you believe that?! I'm not even kidding, the actual creator liked my tweet! I was so happy when that happened.
Oh, and, having the Jurassic Park logo on the back of her shirt was in fact my idea. The original image had the words "Trypoxylus dichotomus" which is known as the Japanese rhinoceros beetle.
