The sun had just begun to rise, casting a warm golden glow over the world. As the first rays of light spilled over the horizon, a small cat slowly opened her [e/c] eyes, stretching out her front paws and arching her back. She yawned widely, showing off her tiny pink tongue, and blinked several times, adjusting to the brightness of the new day.
“ I bet this is another good day. ”
The cat purred happily as she basked at the soft glow of the sunrise through the window.
With a graceful leap, she hopped down from her cozy spot on the windowsill and padded across the hardwood floor, her soft paws making no sound. She paused briefly to give herself a thorough grooming, lapping at her fur with her rough tongue and smoothing down any errant hairs.
