Beach episode... That's all I'm gonna say

- Okay, it's the last day of spring break. What should we do? - Takumi asked
We were sitting alongside Manabu and Asahi on a bench in a small park. Indeed he was right it is the last day of summer vacation, something we have been waiting for for so long. Tomorrow we're supposed to go back to boring student life.
I will briefly mention what happened over the summer break:
For the first two weeks, I mostly sat at home or hang out with Manabu as Asahi and Takumi had to study. When they finally managed to get out of the house, they dragged me to some festival in Minamikarasuyama.
- Y/N! We have to go! Street Light 484 is playing we have to go! - These words came out of Asahi's mouth that day. What I was supposed to do? Say no and break his and Takumi's dream of hearing them live? I'm not such a bad friend.
Apart from Street Light 484, bands like Candies Of Curse, Ira Deorum, and In Ovo played and each was worse than the other.
Anyway, other than that we mostly screwed around. I went to my parents for three days as I haven't seen them in ages. They never visit me at Kikuri's place, my mum usually texts me, but my dad mostly ignores me. The same happened then, Dad left for two days and I only saw him on day three for about an hour, until he had to go to work. He asked obvious questions that everyone asks "How's school?", "How is it living there?" or "Found any friends?". The only words that he meant were:
- Thankfully you're done with this musical nonsense maybe now you can focus more on your studies!
Right, music nonsense. He always said that playing guitar is a waste of time and that I should focus on studying. I'll lie if I say that it hurt, his words mean nothing to me anymore. He was always cold to me, and never ever appreciated anything I did.
Back to the topic.
- I think we should do one thing we didn't do all summer! - Manabu said
- What would that be? - Asahi asked confused
- Go to the beach!
We looked at him surprised
- Are you nuts? - Takumi asked
- You guys really can be no fun! C'mon, let's go to Enoshima
- Enoshima? - Asahi asked - I don't have money on me
- No problem I can spot you - Manabu replied
- Really? Okay then
- How about you Takumi?
Takumi signed but then said:
- Okay guys, if you want to go then I'll go as well
- Cool, see you tomorrow in school I guess - I said as I stood up
- What? You're going with us! - Manabu said
- No way, you already dragged me to that festival!
- Dude, just go with us. What else are you gonna do? Sit on your ass at home? - Asahi asked
- Yeah - I nodded
- No way, you're going with us to Enoshima - Manabu said
I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. They're not gonna give up until I agree. The same thing happened when that festival took place. Can't do anything other than agree.
