Drifting

When a soul shatters, its hues cover the world,
The sun's rays bounce off its patterns
Painting the sky, before it sinks to the bottom of the sea,

When a soul dims, the moon comes out
With gentle hands, it raises it up,
A star gently placed on its cheek, a friend in the dark.

When a soul is lost, it screams, an eclipse latches on —
There's no light to hold, no star to talk to,
The penalty for venturing too far,
Forever cursed to roam the neverending sea.
