Love's Greed

Longing looks, wandering hands, locked lips, and aching hearts,
Desperately they cling, wrapped around each other,
With every fleeting touch, a galaxy of marks and kisses is left behind,
Like dim stars they remained, marking each other as theirs.

Lips locked together, breath passing between them, trembling they joined —
In harmony or dissonance, they couldn't tell,
They never parted, lips finding the others with every pleading look,
They had no need for words, with every glance, every touch,
They wanted to infect each other with their love, drowning in each other's souls.
