A month ahead.
EBONI.
MY DAD SAT BEHIND ME helping me take down the fox locs I've had for the past month & a half. Honestly, he's doing all the work & I'm simply doing nothing.
"& we're done!" He shouted in my ear making me jump & I groaned earning a beautiful laugh from him. I smiled.
I got up from the ground & stretched, then rubbed my ass trying to relieve the ache from sitting on the ground for too long. The carpeted floor did no justice.
I scratched my hair & my eyes rolled. I can now scratch my hair freely without having to smack my head, nearly giving myself a concussion.
"Beautiful girl, beautiful hair." My dad complimented earning a smile from me.
"Thank you." I smiled. I admired my dad's beautiful long locs. He's had them since he was a kid & his locs reached his mid back.
My father on the other hand, he's just bald. Not a single strand of hair on his head. The light glistens off his head like a mirror, that shit is shinier than a disco ball.
I grabbed my phone from the coffee table & headed to my room. I entered my bedroom & closed the door behind me, then I threw myself on my bed.
I checked my notifications & realized had a missed FaceTime call from Geo. It was an hour ago. I immediately called back, completely forgetting about how messy my hair looks right now.
On the second ring, he answered the call.
"Hey lov- woah." His eyes widened in surprised & I quickly turned off the camera.
"No!" He whined earning a smile from me.
"Your natural hair is fucking beautiful man." He said stunned, I could see the adoration in his eyes through the camera.
"Just lying out your cracker ass huh? I look like Albert eistien." I laughed & he snorted. He covered his face as he laughed.
"Chill." He chuckled & I rose an eyebrow. This man must have black family members.
"You're hair is beautiful. Let me see, please E?" He begged & I smiled.
I turned on my camera & a massive smile formed on his face.
"So pretty." He said amazed & my heart skipped a beat at his words.
