" Girl I'm tryna restock my house, I have no food" I said to Lola on the phone as I walked into Costco. "Imma call you back once I'm done with everything" I said, We said our goodbyes and hung up the phone
I found my way into the snacks aisle and started filling my cart up
I'm barley gonna be eating these snacks, My siblings are gonna ransack everything once they come over for the weekend I just know it
As I was looking around the snack aisle I heard familiar voices behind me causing me to turn around to see Dejounte and Riley
I quickly turned around so he wouldn't noticed me as I walked down the aisle
" Cassandra" I heard dejounte voice causing me to turn around. " Oh I hi" I smiled
" It's weird seeing you here" He chuckled. "I would say the same for you" I snickered
" So what have you been up to" I asked sparking up a conversation. "Nothing much. Just tryna move outta Houston" He sighed scratching the back of his head
" Why" I asked. " Me and my second baby momma got into huge fight and broke up. So I'm thinking about moving out of Houston to go back to La" He said and I nodded my head
" I guess we're both going through" I sighed. "You doing anything tonight" He asked. "Yea. I got work and after work I gotta go to a friends party" I said
" Same here, I really don't wanna go but I have to" He said. "Same" I said and we both looked at each other and busted out laughing
" Riley did you say hi to Cassandra" He said calling Riley over
" Hi" She smiled running towards me as I picked her up. " How you been" I smiled. "Good" She said giving me a thumbs up
" You look so pretty" I said looking at her outfit and hair. " My daddy dressed me up" She said and I nodded glancing back at dejounte then back at her
I put her down and she ran off again
" So umm how you been" He asked. "Good like always" I said
