6. Hunger games

I slowly shift my body as my eyes flutter open, and I find myself wrapped in a blanket like a mummy. I pull the cover off me and find that it's now a lot darker then earlier, so I check the time on my phone and it's 5:30pm. I look next to me to find no Jack so I shift to my other side to check the pool and and there they all are. All of the boys are in the pool fighting and attempting to drown each other.

"HEY! Look who's up." Cole yells as he looks over to me and smiles until Trevor jumps on his back, dragging him under the water

"Why was I wrapped up like a mummy?" I ask puzzled

"That was me sorry. You fell asleep and I didn't want to wake you but I also didn't want you to burn so I covered you up. Lucky I did because you stayed out for about an hour or two." Jack says as he walks over to me water dripping off him

"Oh thanks. I guess thanks to you I don't look like a tomato." I giggle

"Your welcome." 

"So I was thinking of going out and buying a bunch of snacks and ordering loads of Chinese food for our movie marathon tonight." I say to all the boys

"Since when are we having a movie marathon?" All the boys says turning their attention to me

"Since I decided I felt like binging the Hunger Games series."

"No those movies suck. The only good one is the second one. Why can't we skip the first, watch the second and then just not watch the rest." Trevor complains

"Because the first movie builds up the second one and we can't just leave it at the stadium falling to bits. WE NEED AN ENDING!" I argue

"Okay geez. We will watch all the movies." Trevor says as he accepts defeat

"Does anyone want to come to the store with me to get all the food?" I question

"I will." Jack says as he shoots up his hand

"Okay cool. Meet you at the car in a half hour." I say as I walk off

"OKAY!' He responds

I go upstairs to my room that I'm sharing with Luke and take a long hot shower. I get out of the shower feeling refreshed and dry myself off. Once I brush my hair and do all of the other stuff I decide to pick out some clothes. I end up wearing some black lulu tights, a Umich quatre zip and my Birks. It's been about a half hour so I head downstairs to find Jack standing at the door holding some shopping bags with a huge smile on his face.

"Why are you so smiley." I question while grabbing the car keys

"Dunno, I guess I'm just in a smiley mood today." Jack says grinning at me

"Okay then MR smiley, let's get going." 

"Okay." He replies and follows me out the door

The drive to the supermarket was full of music, yelling and overall loudness. We arrive at the supermarket an head inside grabbing a trolly on the way in. Jack being the little kid he was decided to stand on the front of the trolly, so he didn't have to walk. We must have been in the shop for at least half and hour, me telling Jack what to grab and him fetching it. So we got the job done pretty quick, I should take him more often. We arrive at the car with all of our bags filled with food, I load the light stuff in while Jack loads the heavier things. I messaged Quinn the list of what Chinese food to order, since I was driving and couldn't do it myself. We pull up into the driveway at the house and theirs a new car in the driveway, odd? Before I can even stop the car properly Jack bolts into the house, leaving me to bring in all the food. I manage to get a few bags into the house before Luke and Quinn come outside to help me.

"Thanks. Jack just bolted and I have no idea why." I say to the two boys

"Yeah about that, one of their friends was able to come down last minute. Jack must of recognized his car and ran in to see him." Quinn says

"Ohhh. That's who's car that was." I say

"Yep." Luke responds

We bring the last of the bags inside and head into thew living room, I'm greeting by a new face that all the boys were huddling around. He was only a bit taller than Cole but he was handsome and had dark hair.

"Y/N, this is Alex Turcotte one of our mates from NTDP." Jack says referring to the boy next to him

"Hi." I say and give him a friendly smile and small wave

"Hi." He responds with the same actions

'DING'

"Oo, that must be the Chinese food. Can you boys set up all the other food on the living room coffee table please." I say as I run to the door

I hear a bunch of mhm's and yes's. I open the door and am greeted with food, the guys wasn't there but I saw him hopping in his car. This must be one of those places that just drops the food and leaves. I head back inside into the living room holding a weeks worth of Chinese food for one night. The boys take their share of the food and we all sit down and begin eating as the movie starts playing. I find myself wedged tight between Jack and Cole, so it was pretty chill and I could get comfortable.
