She knew him since she was seventeen

He saved her from a drunken client who attempted to rape her

But her story didn't end like the fairytales she grew up hearing about

She was rescued from one hell only to end up in another

One that's probably worse

Because after everything she still loved him

Or so she thinks, but he did get her out of so much trouble

So in a way he was her safe haven

Even in his monstrosity she found some kind of peace

She meets him by the front door exactly six hours since he last left to " take care" of the Marcel situation

He gives her cheek a hasty kiss before throwing his jacket on the floor

" You've been gone for hours, what happened?"

She said picking up his jacket, the blood smearing it caught her attention

" Same old same old, I'm still out of luck with getting to know what his secret weapon is precisely "

" i noticed the invitation"

He slowly turned around his face hiding something, an almost guilty expression

She hated how he looked at her as if waiting for her to get to the point , like his shrouded request is absolutely acceptable

" You know i can't go back there "

He scoffed, any shred of guilt has now disappeared from his face and the only thing he cared about was once again his self serving interests

" oh come now Love, i could really use your ... Services tonight"

She swallowed the lump forming in her throat as he walked over to her, hands around her waist and his lips halting near her ear

" Wear something nice"

She feels sick to her stomach but denying him this won't end well for her

So she blinks back tears and decides to be strong even if it's just for the night
