She heard whispers around her. They knew nothing and yet judged her. It was an arranged marriage, her husband's late mother's last wish "Shall we go home sweetie?" her husband smiled at her while circling his arms around her waist. She nodded her head smiling at the people around them and bid them goodbye before following her husband into the car

Their affection toward each other was fake, he was never like that at home. He would find the smallest flaw and would blame her for it. There was no love between the two, only need and desire

This was never the situation she imagined when she married Jaehyun, the only child of a rich family in South Korea. Sure he had good looks but he had a rotten personality or he was just like that towards her since she tied him down to an unwanted marriage

Even if he wasn't the worst husband he wasn't the best either. He would rarely come home if he did it was for his own benefit. He never gave a damn about his poor wife who was waiting for him at home, he probably spent the night with one of his girlfriends

"I want a divorce" she said looking out the window, not minding her husband who had a questioning look on his face "Why?" she scoffed, looking at him who had his brow raised "As if you care. I know that you've waited for this moment for a long time so just let me go. I don't need anything from you just set me free"

She wasn't wrong when she said that he waited for a long time to divorce her but couldn't because he was a good son who wanted to fulfill his mother's wish "The lawyer will send the papers tomorrow" and with that, he jumped out of the car to his girlfriend's house leaving her alone in the car

"Drive to my home" she told the driver. She had enough of everything, she was patient with her husband for three years, and she turned deaf whenever people called her a gold digger but she just couldn't do it anymore. It was time to let go of everything and start new

"Considering that you lived with me for three years I'll give you a generous amount of money even if you said you didn't want any" Jaehyun told her before leaving the room

This was it, she finally divorced her husband and was free. For once she was happy, her smile genuine

"Time to start fresh my baby" she said rubbing her stomach as she made her way into the restaurant next to the court
