Chapter 28: Hunting Season

Hivemus Prime, Misfire, and the Recruits decided to go to Earth to hang out with the Clays. Denny is showing Misfire and Impactra about staying in character when using disguises. Denny is wearing a Mountie hat "Oh yeah, aye, I'm from the park service. Sorry, but this trail is closed don'tcha know?" Denny explained in a Canadian accent. "Woooow, it's like one minute you're that guy, and then boom, suddenly you're somebody else!" Misfire exclaimed. Denny removes the hat and puts it in the bag that he was carrying.

"The secret is to really get inside a character's head," Denny said as he puts on a fake mustache "Oh, do another, do another" Misfire urged clapping his servos as Impactra chuckled. Denny puts on a Deerstalker hat "I say I'm Inspector Nigel Nigel of her Majesty's New Scotland Yard" Denny explained in an English accent. "You're good, Denny" Impactra said. Russell came out as he wore a top hat and a monocle and speaks in an English accent too "And I am the Inspector's assistant, Sir Duke of Earl" he explained.

Denny removes the hat and speaks in his normal voice "Hey, Duke, we need to talk" Denny said as he bends down to Russell's level and placed his hand on Russell's shoulder. "Uh-Oh, heavy drama alert," Russell said in his normal voice. "I don't think I should take you with me on any more missions," Denny said. "What? Why?" Russell asked "A dad's number one job is to make sure his kid survives to adulthood. If you get run over by a robotic buffalo or something that's pretty much an epic fail on the parenting front" Denny explained.

"But, I thought I was part of the team, I thought we were a team" Russell exclaimed "We are, Rusty, but--" Denny was cut off as the alarm was heard as the rest of the Autobots came to the Command Center "What's the story, Fixit" Hivemus asked "Sensors detect two Cybertronian ships landing in the forest, west of Crown City" Fixit explained as he shows the holo-map that has two red dots that present the ships but are in different directions. "Scans are inclusive," he said the scans couldn't tell if the ships are Autobot or Decepticon "We should prepare for hostiles just in case" Hivemus Prime suggested "Okay, I'm prepared," Misfire said as he balled his fist and his other servo clenching it.

"Hang on, Misfire. There's a hunting lodge in that area if we run into locals might be tough to explain a big, metal Dinosaur or a military jet" Hivemus explained because Misfire's two alt. modes are too conspicuous to head to a hunting lodge. Misfire sighed in dismay as Hivemus turns to Denny "We might need you and Russell to run interference, Denny" he said "I'm in, Bee. But, Russell won't be coming on any more missions" Denny said as Russell made a disgruntled look.

Hivemus and the Recruits except for Pyrostorm, who stayed behind arrived at the hunting lodge "No sign of humans" Hivemus Prime said as Denny inside of Strongarm, opens her door to peak as he was wearing a mountie hat "Maybe, it's not hunting season?" he said as an exit out of Strongarm as the Autobots transformed into their robot modes. "Denny, take cover" Hivemus ordered "Don't have to tell me twice," Denny said as he ran off to hide.

"The two ships that Fixit detected and couldn't tell if they're Autobot or Decepticon...for me this happened before," Sideswipe said "Really?" Rotorstorm II asked "Yes, back in the Great War when I still lived the Dinobots, Scorn had also detected two Cybertronian ships, but he couldn't tell if they're Autobot or Decepticon. The two ships landed on the outskirts of Polyhex, it was my suggestion to check if one of them is ours. So, when Grimlock, Slug, Sludge, and I arrived at the Autobot outpost, it turns out the first ship is a Decepticon and the other is an Autobot" Sideswipe explained.

"And who are the pilots of the two ships?" Jake asked before Sideswipe could answer Jake's question he hears an engine as he turns over to the source as a purple hover motorcycle appeared and jumped over the fence and transformed into a Decepticon mech. He lands on the ground and looks up at the Autobots. He's in his early 40s, and has a light purple face, red optics, and a rifle strapped on his back. Sideswipe's optics widen in shock as he recognizes the Decepticon "You?" Sideswipe muttered as the Decepticon mech grinned "Well, well, if it isn't my lost prize?" he said.
