Chapter 40: Halloween Time

Back on Earth, the Recruits decided to go to Earth to celebrate Halloween. Impactra dressed up as an Amazon warrior, Rotorstorm II dressed up as Jessica Rabbit, Jake dressed up as Thranduil from "Lord of the Rings", Crash dressed up as Roger Rabbit, Pyrostorm dressed up as Predaking, Sideswipe dressed up as a wolf, and Strongarm dressed up as Little Red Riding Hood. Slipstream and Jetstorm had tagged along with the Recruits, they asked their master and surrogate father, Drift permission to come with the Recruits to Earth to celebrate Halloween, Drift accepted and told them to stay out of trouble as he puts Sideswipe in charge to watch over them. Slipstream dressed up as kappa, a mythical creature from Japanese folklore, and Jetstorm dressed up as Tengu, a Japanese demon in Shinto belief.

All the Recruits complement each other's costumes especially the Minicons. "Those are some awesome costumes you have, Slips and Jets," Sideswipe exclaimed, "Thanks Big Bro!!!" they exclaimed in unison, they nicknamed Sideswipe 'Big Bro' because they see him as an older brother, "You're welcome, Little Bros" Sideswipe retorted as he nicknamed them 'Little Bros' because he also sees them as younger brothers. Prowl, Denny, Russell, and Fixit approached the Recruits and Minicons, like the others they also wore costumes. Fixit, Denny, and Russell dressed up as 'Steven Universe' characters: Fixit dressed up as Rose Quartz, Russell dressed up as Steven Universe, and Denny dressed up as Greg Universe, Prowl dressed up as a spider.

"Everyone ready for Halloween?" Denny asked "Yes!" The Recruits and the Minicons exclaimed when Denny suggested that they should come with them to the Crown City in robot mode, the Autobots were insecure about going there in their robot modes, but Denny reassured them that they won't be exposed because Halloween is known for people wearing costumes, so the other humans will think they are humans in costumes. Prowl and Fixit came to Earth in case of any Decepticon inmate sightings.

At the neighborhood...

The Recruits, Minicons, and Fixit are with Russell going Trick or Treating, although the bots don't cosume human food, they are just hanging out with Russell. While Trick or Treating, Russell and the bots stumble on Hank, a girl who plays football, she is dressed up as Connie from 'Steven Universe' as she saw Russell and the bots "Hey, Rusty" Hank said "Oh, hi Hank" Russell said as Hank sees Fixit, the Minicons, and Recruits as she smiles "Those are amazing costumes you guys have there" she said "Thanks" Sideswipe said as a little boy in a cardboard robot costume sees them "Hey, Mommy look! Robots is costumes!" he exclaimed "Thanks, little one and I like your little robot costume" Rotorstorm II said "Thanks, I made it myself" the little boy said "You're welcome" Rotorstorm II said.

A Japanese-American girl is with her father as she sees Slipstream and Jetstorm "Daddy, look! These two people dressing up as robots dressing up Japanese creatures" she exclaimed as her dad sees them too "Yes, sweetie, they dressed up as Kappa and Tengu" he said. "Who are you dressed up as?" Russell asked "I'm dressed up as Connie from 'Steven Universe' " Hank answered as she, Russell, Fixit, the Minicons, and Recruits continue Trick or Treating. "Steven Universe is my favorite cartoon growing up as a kid" Hank explained "Really? Me too" Russell added. Unbeknownst to the humans and bots, a strange shadow figure is watching them.

Meanwhile, Denny is at a Halloween party in a bar while Prowl is outside watching humans hanging out and having a good time, he sees a group of boys take a little boy's candy bag, Prowl will not allow that as stops the boys and takes the bag as he hands it back to the little boy "Thanks, Mister" the little boy said "You're welcome, kid" Prowl said as he then glares at the older boys "Didn't your parents told you to not take things that belong to you?" he said as he tells them to call them as they complied and they get scolded by their parents. The little boy's father thanks Prowl for stopping the older boys then the little boy gives Prowl some of his candy as a 'thank you' gift, despite that Prowl doesn't consume human food, he accepts the gift as the little boy and his father left.
