Night Terrors

These Dreams

Moiky wakes up from a dream.

Sweat trickled her forehead as she felt like running out of breath. 

It was still dark, and only the light from the lamp post outside her apartment helped her to be aware of her surroundings.

She was parched, so she reached for the glass of water from her nightstand. 

As she was about to get the water, she felt her body dipping down on the bed as if swallowing her whole. 

The sheets felt too tight and tangled her limbs. The urge to scream was taking over her, but she couldn't find her voice. 

Panic rises over her senses. 

Moiky struggled to get out of bed, kicking her legs and pulling the duvet and blankets, and it wasn't doing anything to help her get out of her state. As the bed successfully swallowed her whole body.

And that's when Moiky wakes up from a dream.
