Linn was abruptly awoken by the sound of banging on the doors and walls of the dormitory. She groggily got out of bed and rubbed her eyes, trying to make sense of what was happening.

As she walked to the dining hall for breakfast, she noticed Lady Lesso watching her from afar with a curious expression on her face. Linn couldn't help but feel a twinge of intrigue, and she found herself increasingly drawn to the enigmatic Dean of the School of Evil.

At breakfast, the tension between the nevers and the evers was palpable. Some of the nevers had started a food fight with the evers, which Linn found amusing, but she didn't participate in. She sat with her newfound friends, Hester, Dot, and Anadil, and they exchanged stories and laughed as the chaos unfolded around them.

After breakfast, it was time for Linn's first class with Professor Manley. She entered the classroom and listened as he explained the importance of uglification and the use of tadpole juice. Linn felt a wave of disgust wash over her at the thought of drinking tadpole juice, and she couldn't help but cringe.

"Now, class, it's time to uglify yourselves with tadpole juice. It's a crucial part of our evilness!"

"Sorry, Professor Manley, but I won't be partaking in that particular tradition."

"Miss Lucifer, you seem to have a problem with my teaching methods," Professor Manley said, his voice dripping with annoyance.

"I have a problem with drinking tadpole juice," Linn retorted, crossing her arms defiantly.Manley's face turned red with fury, and Linn couldn't resist poking fun at his rooten teeth. He was not amused and promptly sent her to the Dean's office.Manley's anger flared, and he pointed to the door. "Get out of my classroom! I won't tolerate such insolence!"

Linn sighed as she walked to Lady Lesso's office, feeling a bit nervous about what would happen next. She had heard stories about how strict the Dean of Evil could be, but also knew that she had a strange interest in her.

As she entered the office, Lady Lesso looked up from her paperwork and locked eyes with Linn. "Well, well, well. If it isn't my favorite never," she said, smirking.Linn raised an eyebrow, unsure of how to react. "I'm here because Professor Manley sent me," she explained.

Lady Lesso waved her hand dismissively. "I see, but that doesn't mean we can't have a little chat first. You've been causing quite a stir since you arrived."

Linn felt a shiver run down her spine as Lady Lesso stood up and walked towards her. "I have to admit, I'm quite intrigued by you," she continued, tracing her finger down Linn's cheek.Linn's heart raced as she tried to keep her composure. "I don't know what you're talking about," she said, trying to sound casual.Lady Lesso chuckled. "Oh, I think you do. But don't worry, I won't bite... unless you want me to," she whispered in Linn's ear, sending a chill down her spine.Linn quickly pulled away, feeling a mixture of fear and excitement. She couldn't deny that Lady Lesso had a strange power over her, and she wasn't sure if she liked it or not.

She then returned  to her cold gaze: "Linn, it seems you have quite the reputation already.Disrespecting your professors on your very first day. Care to explain yourself?"

Linn crossed her arms, unfazed by the Dean's stern gaze.

Linn: "I refuse to uglify myself with tadpole juice. It's repulsive, and I won't stoop to that level just to fit in with the so-called traditions of the School of Evil. As for Professor Manley, he needs to learn how to take a joke."Lady Lesso's lips twitched into a faint smile, and she raised an eyebrow. As Linn left Lady Lesso's office, she couldn't help but feel a mix of relief and apprehension. She had stood up for herself, but she also knew that she had crossed paths with the powerful Dean of Evil, and it might have consequences.

As she got out from the  office she met her friends waiting for her with worried expressions.

"Linn, what happened with Lady Lesso?"

"Yeah, we saw you going in, and we were so worried!"

"Did she give you detention or something?"

Linn smirked and shrugged, trying to brush off their concern. "Nah, just a little chat. Turns out, I have quite the reputation already."
