"Mi!" the little girl cried for her companion as she ran through the dense forest. Her face is smeared with tears, and she is scared. The girl running through this forest is a little child of eight years. She turns around, fear stricken as she hears a strange sound from behind her.

'Mi!!" she calls out in her small voice again. "Mi! where are you?"

More tears make their way out of her eyes, and she screams loudly. A big shadow approaches her, coming towards her and make her shouts lower to a whimper. The small girl looks up with eyes wide in fear. She is absolutely terrified. Her momma has always warned her to never go beyond the fence. But Miyi, her elder sister sent her to take the ball.

And she went, gladly knowing her Mi will be there all the time. But now that this big looming thing came closer and closer, she realizes. Mi isn't coming, she's never coming for her little sister ever again. Cause Suyeon was sent knowing how dangerous the creatures were. Yeon wass sent to die

She stands up, straighter. Looking up at the two red, glowing holes in its head. If Yeon was going to be left to die, she'll do so in complete grandeur. So, she stood, unwavering under the eye of her doom. The thing leered at her, its rotten yellow teeth showing as the thin lips parted. Yeon looked around her, and she ran.

She didn't stop when she saw her sister standing near the fence. She didn't stop when her 'daddy' and 'momma' shouted for her. She didn't stop when her father shot at the creature. For without their knowledge, they had lost her. They had lost their Ray in front of the dark. And they didn't even realize.

Mi confessed her faults. They flicked it aside, knowing it was no use crying about it now. Meanwhile Yeon refused to look at any of them. Mi knew it was because of her and yet she didn't ask for her. Suyeon had nightmares, she had anxiety attacks, she felt the creatures of the night looking at her. She always felt their presence. She knew they wanted her as badly as they wanted to escape from the dense forest that laid just beyond their safety fences.

She was facing so many of them, the demons, in and out. But Mi never seemed to mind. Mi never seemed to notice. For Mi was busy gathering trophies and pretty butterflies. Their beauty captured her heart meanwhile her ray was left alone to crumble. In a dark abyss, out in the world, exposed to the lies, threats and the demons.

And Suyeon fought, trying her best to protect her innocence, to protect her mind. She fought, trying her very best to earn her Mi back...

But you don't not get back what you lose in a hurricane of emotions. You never find the most broken, the prettiest piece of yourself after you lose it in such a heartless manner.

Suyeon often wandered back into the woods. The feathered messengers of death enthralled her. The red eyed furry beasts tugged at her heart. She found it intriguing, watching the little vicious reptiles wrap themselves around her neck. She crept out, in the dead of night. Breaching the safety fence and smiling every time, seeing her creatures waiting for her.

She was thrown into the abyss; she arose as the queen of dark. She was meant to drawn in the river; she made her comeback, riding the ocean waves. She was left to die; she came back, hand in hand with it as if an old friend.

Falling apart never seemed a good idea before. She thought to herself as she saw a certain female with pretty black eyes struggling to emerge from the black waters. A small smile tugged at the corner of her lips. Tilting her head, Suyeon felt satisfaction seep in her veins as Miyi slowly stopped moving altogether.

Yes, falling apart... It never felt so right, so painfully beautiful.
