At the end of the week both Yami and Charlotte had 2 days off , so that night on Friday The couple went out for a simple date to the cafe and had a romantic night after that it was getting late so they decided to go back to their places so they decided to go back walking but suddenly it started raining , so they both started running to any nearby place to stay under until the rain calmed Charlotte was feeling colder because her clothes were light and they got wet but Yami was wearing a hoodie but he couldn't take it off to cover his gf with it .

Yami said : I'm sorry I can't take my hoodie off

Charlotte said : I-its fine

Then she sneezed

Yami asked : Are you ok ?

Charlotte said : yes

Yami said : Try to stay patient

After 20 minutes the rain stopped so Yami decided to call Finral to come pick them up after both of them were back , the blond haired woman took a warm shower and layed in bed Meanwhile the black haired man sat on his couch and started smoking then they both went to sleep

The next morning Charlotte was still asleep, so her squad members didn't wake her up but after an hour one of the girls came to put some stuff in Charlotte's room so she noticed that the woman was sweating so she checked her forehead and face and they were so hot so she called the girls, Sol immediately went to bring cold patches ( idk if that's what their called) and checked her temperature and it was high , after they took care of the fever The captain slowly opened her eyes and saw her girls looking worried

Sol asked : Heyy char are you ok ?

Charlotte said with a low voice : W-what happened

Then she started coughing , so they told her to rest and not to speak after that she fell asleep , after 2 hours The captain woke up she was feeling fatigued and lightheaded, she tried to get up but she immediately went back to bed feeling weak, then one of her squad members came to her and helped her get up , then another squad member came and gave her some soup and some meds to feel better, Charlotte ate then lied down feeling lightheaded, the day went on and Charlotte stayed in bed all day trying to get better

The next day, Yami finished some things and texted his gf but she didn't respond because she was sleeping, so Yami thought that she was busy so he decided not to bother her , but after an hour he was impatient so he decided to call her but she didn't answer she was still tired, so he tried to wait but he just couldn't so he decided to visit her, he called the driver and went to Charlotte's place , he came and knocked on the door holding a small bouquet of flowers then Sol opened the door

Yami said: Good after noon Sol

Sol said: sorry but char can't see you rn

Yami said: is she busy but it's the wee-

Sol interrupted him: she's not feeling well, she has a cold

Yami looked concerned and asked : then why didn't she tell me

Sol: because she didn't wanna make you worry

Yami : I knew it she always does that

Yami gets out, sol shrugs and closes the door, Yami goes to the convient store and gets her some stuff to feel better soon he goes back to the palace and goes in , he goes upstairs while holding the bag and then small bouquet and knocks on Charlotte's room,

Charlotte says in a low voice: come in

Yami comes and Charlotte gets flustered and turns red because she looks tired and a bit crusty , Yami notices and goes to her and touches her forehead

Yami said: my love is ur fever back??

Charlotte said: N-no I'm fine I just got a bit shy

Yami said: why

Charlotte coughed and said: I look crusty and sick

Yami touches her face and says : my love I don't care if u look like that it's ok you cant help it your sick and also I care about your appearance and you still look beautiful In my eyes

Charlotte blushes and says: that's so sweet of you babe

Yami hands her the bouquet of flowers and the things that will help her feel better

Yami said : babe do you want anything to eat or drink

Charlotte says: no I'm fine

Yami gives her some jello and tries to feed her.

Charlotte says embarrassed : i-im not a child

Yami chuckles and Charlotte starts eating, then Yami tries to make her feel better and talks to her

Yami said: I'm so sorry my love

Charlotte asked: why??

Yami answered : because I didn't check the weather forecast that night and you got sick because of the rain I should've been more careful

Charlotte said: it's ok babe it just happened it's not your fault and I wasn't careful please don't blame yourself

Yami started talking to his gf to make her feel better then slowly Charlotte started getting hotter and lightheaded her temperature was getting higher , Yami noticed and rushed to her

Yami asked worried : babe are you feeling alright

Charlotte was feeling tired and so she didn't say anything , Yami checked her forehead and it was hot he called sol to bring some cold cloths and some medicine so she rushed with cold cloths and some medicine to help decrease her temperature, Yami held the blonde woman's hand and stayed by her side and tried to help her , he kept checking her temperature and changing the cloths he took care of her until her temperature decreased Yami felt better , she fell asleep, Yami smiled and kissed her hand he made sure that she was ok then he left to let her rest

The next day he came to her to check up on her and make her feel better , Yami was chatting with her and taking care of her, she was getting better, he sat down next to her and looked into her deep blue eyes, she blushed

Yami said : I love you sm

Charlotte said while smiling : I love you too

Yami kissed her forehead

He said : get well soon

She said : I will I promise

They looked at each other and smiled.
