I woke up to the loud beeping of my annoying pink alarm clock. It was 4 In the morning and there was no way I was getting up. "I'll just go back to bed for 2 more hours"I told myself as I tried reset that annoying machine. I pushed down the large plastic button with my thumb. "No noise, let's do this again". For the seventeenth time I pressed the plastic button as hard as I could. It finally worked. "Well I'm not tired anymore so what should I do"I said in an exhausted tone. I checked my phone. 23 notifications. 6 of them were from Maddie.
Maddie-I'm bored

I decided to reply with"be at your house in 15 minutes". I got my purple sequined sleepover bag with the word "sleepover" written on the silk tag in black sharpie. I ran around my room packing everything I would need. My swimsuit, towel, toothbrush, toothpaste, hairbrush, diary, mini(my stuffed penguin), my clothes, and a huge pile of magazines with best friend quizzes in them. I ran down the Woden stairs and avoided the steel nail that's still poking out in the railing. The smell of fresh pancakes greeted me as I walked into the kitchen. "Hi honey" my mom said. "Hey can you make me a quick one, I'm going over to Maddie's house".My mom plopped a pancake on one of the clay plates I made in pottery class. When it was served to me I quickly made a swirl with the chocolate syrup and plopped some fruit on top. I ate in about one minute and ran out the door clomping down the stone steps. "Bye mom". "Bye sweetie". ---------------------------------------
