Genesis Pov:

I wake up, my head is pounding. I grab my medication on the table as I swallow it leaving a burning sensation in my throat. The headache subsided but I still feel like someone punched the top of my skull

I look outside the window to hear Julie's voice. And she's...

...Singing

I haven't heard her sing in so long I didn't feel my eyes tear up. As I was getting ready for school I stuffed my meds into my bag. Nobody in the house knows I have them. I put the lyrics I sang earlier in my jewelry box.

I exit seeing Flynn and Julie

"Hey girls" I say

"Hey, did you hear her!" Flynn sounds super happy 

"Yeah, that was perfect Jules" I hug her as I see the boys outside the garage as I smile at them

"You are a shining bright star, okay? I love that you have it back in your life again!" I kiss her cheek

"Its not that big of a deal guys, let's hope I get back in the music program" Julie shuts her eyes and spots the boys where she waves at them. Flynn looks back and she pretended to swat a fly. I chuckle as I head behind them

Ahhh finally. My room, I hear a loud yell from Julies room and suppose she probably found the boys in there, I plug in my headphones and start making an art piece. It was supposed to be Angel with paint splatter around him. It was for his birthday

It was really awkward at school, with him being so distant. My eyes start to water as my head starts to spin and I get awful flashbacks. I reach in my bag for a pill and see I only took one home, I left the rest in my locker. I have to break it in half so it would last. It helped but just a tiny bit.

I didn't notice the three boys entering my room 

"Hey" reggie says

"Hey, Gen" Alex smiles

"Huh, oh hi" I quickly swallowed the pill and hid the other one

"Watcha doin?" Luke asks

"Just painting and listening to music, let me guess. All you bums managed to get kicked out of Jules room?"

They all look away as Alex tries to save them

"Welllll, I meann- it was lukes fault!"

Luke just scoffs and spots my wall lined up with vinyl dics

"Ooooh whats over here?!" He asks 

"My discs, and other stuff"

"Can we see?" Reggie and Luke ask at the same time

"Sure, knock yourselves out"I quickly go to hide the pill and Alex noticed. When I hid it back in the bag I sat down on my bed and laid down, I felt a presence watching me. It was Alex.

"Hey, Lexie whats up?" I try to save myself yet know he won't fall for it

"Lexie? Since when did you two get close?" Reggie asks, I heard a strange tone in his voice
