So this is how I started, yes there are weird ass shapes over there. And my mechanical pencil is naked cuz it's clothes were worn off...

You're right I was supposed to use just pencils but I was too lazy to sharp them so i used mechanical pencils instead. However, ordinary pencils do give out the realistic effect unlike mechanical pencils
So use normal pencils okays?

TBH, drawing the face structure is the hardest part so usually I draw out the hair first then only the face structure. I even apply this for anime too...

This was drawing the hair. As you see, I don't shade it because it will look ugly so my lecturer advise me to use lines. IT TAKES AGES TBH BUT IF YOU WANT IT TO LOOK GOOD, YOU HAVE TO OKAY? NOTHING IS EASY IN LIFE
Tbh I was confident for this one cuz this is iu were talking abt. She's a little easier to draw. For example, even if you're drawing portraits for the first time, you could get her proportions rt at least by 50%. I'm not even kidding. I feel it's because of the eyes
