1. Make 101% sure NOBODY wants to be in your abusive relationship.
dont make the reader wish the character thats commiting the abuse pin them down and force them to kiss the character. A Short Example is Maybe Character A is hot and does sexual stuff against a character's will. and Charcter B thats getting the sexual stuff enjoys it. DONT DO THAT. If Character B enjoys it, some people will want to be in that relationship. DONT make them enjoy that. and if they enjoy it, Character B is not right in the head.
Instead do smth like this:
Character A was spoiled at a young age. As they grew up, they used Sex to get what they pleased. Character A meets Character B. Character A Manipulates Character B into Sex, But Character B Doesnt want it. Character A r*pes Character B. Character B hated it. They hated Sex. And its obvious. So Character A Threatens Character B with R*pe if they don't do what They say.
now THAT is A Abusive Relationship NO ONE wants to be in. and if someone did, they aren't right in the head.
2. Okay unlike the first, you don't have to do this, this is just a tip. So if your the kind of person to draw things out, For example

You can make the abused character you can make the art look all pretty and cutsey and then add some dark shit hinting theres more behind the scenes. See how i made her in the crybaby outfit from the offical music video? BUT I added bite marks and cuts. i made them bleed as well so it happened just recently. this shows that this may seem cute and innocent. but if you count the markings, it shows she has been sexually and psychically abused. This also could show on how innocent yout character was and that they didnt deserve how they were treated

3. DON'T GLORIFY THE RELATIONSHIP
Please dont make it go into the "romance" catagory. This is a controversial problem some content creators go into. meaning, if you glorify your toxic/abusive relationship. Controversy will hit you harder then a brick. but, Be ultra careful. People get triggered very easily and even when your not trying to glorify the relationship, people will think you are. for example, You draw a picture of the abuser telling the abuse victim that they belong to them and the abuse victim is not happy. That isnt glorifying. but people think it is.
4. Make the abuse victim go through some mental problems because of the abuser
This also goes wheather the abuse is still happening or the abuse victim is free from the toxicity make them go through some mental problmes. Abuse is a common cause of Mental problems. that includs depression, ptsd, anxiety, and others. If you take 15 for example, She is anxious 24/7 and has PTSD. Because Terrance would sexually harrass her and beat her everyday. Some of the common problems caused by Abuse are anxiety, depression, and PTSD. it also can result in DTD. aka Developmental Trauma Disorder. but dont overdue it. Do your research.
5. Make the abuse victim FEAR the abuser
Many abuse victim's are afraid of the abuser. that is not something the abuse victim should be ashamed of. but many abuse victim's wish they were brave enough to face their abuser. only some stand up and face there fear. others live in darkness.
6. Make the abuser have reasoning to do what their doing. just dont make it a good one.
Many abusers have reasons to abuse. but they are always stupid reasons. there is NEVER a good reason to do what they do.
7. Make the abuser unaware of what their doing is wrong.
Most abusers dont think even once what they doing may not be as good as they think it is. they feel like the abuse victim deserves to be treated as such.
8. Dont make the abuse victim notice right away
Most abuse victim's dont notice their being mistreated right away. it could be days,weeks, months, or years until they find out that their abuser isn't treating them the way they should
9. Make the abuser and the abuse victim ROUND CHARACTERS. dont make them flat. dont make the abuser exist just to be abusive. Flat characters normally are low-quality, and only have 1-2 traits. Round characters are characters you WANT TO MAKE/
10. Write down facts about you character. and base your design off those facts.

-Possibly a coward.
-Most likely the type of person to chat to people online.
-Has a fear of puplic speaking and heights.

-Likes fan-fics online
-Very close to Lola and Cam. is a little bit close to Precious but not so much as lola and cam -Homeschooled
Make those facts and create your design. It shows 15 has a baby face and loves pastel. and she also loves oversized clothing. it also shows she has very floofy hair. it also shows she is childish, and has virtigo skin.
