A/N: the picture is the same style but not the exact design of the study.
Sofia De Ricci:
I pushed the door open to reveal Lorenzo's office. The room had dark blue walks a similar colour to the walls in the hallway. There was one huge window facing the pool in the massive garden they owned. Opposite the window was a bookcase that stretched to the ceiling. The bookcase was filled with files and pictures of the brothers. Behind the desk, there was a massive family photo but I'm guessing it's from years ago because there are 7 children and 2 parents. Wait is that baby me?
Lorenzo was sitting facing his computer at his desk.
I sat down in one of the armchairs that were placed facing towards him. This study kind of reminds me of the principles office back at my old school but way nicer.
After about 20 seconds of him ignoring my presence, he finally lifts his head to face me.
"Ah Sofia, I didn't hear you knock." Lorenzo says sarcastically while smiling.
"Bro, You literally did. You called out 60 seconds ago, 'Come in!'" I try to make an impression of his voice but only for it to turn into sounding like a 4-year-old girl's voice.
"Alright chill out, we just need to set some rules straight starting with you fixing your attitude." He had a serious look on his face and I tried my best not to laugh at it.
"What are you my dad," I immediately talk back.
"No, I may not be your dad but I'm your brother and I own this house so if you want to live in it start to buckle your ideas up."
"Ideas what do you mean ideas? I've only been here for less than an hour want could I possibly have done wrong?"
"To you, I might be a complete stranger at the moment but as well as being your brother but I'm also your legal guardian so I was given all your personal records including your criminal record."
My eyes widen and I Immediately respond not in the mood to talk about that "Ok, ok I'll buckle my ideas up just please don't talk about the criminal record thing."
"To be honest Sofia, I was surprised when I looked at it. You've done worse things than the twins!" He responds completely ignoring what I just said.
"Ok I get it, I thought this was about rules not about what I did in my free time."
He raises a brow at my response and says, "Alright no need to get angry. Anyways rules:
1) No parties,
2) No boys,
3) No sneaking out,
4) Oh and never go to level -3 of the house.
Rule 4 is the most important rule out of them all, do you understand."
All I could think about was what was on floor -3 and just replied "You do know rules are literally designed to be broken, right."
"I'm being deadly serious, Sofia. But do you have any questions?"
"Yeah, I have questions on pretty much all those rules. Ok, firstly can I seriously never go to a party?"
"No, no no you can go to parties if you let someone know about it, but you're never allowed to throw your own party here." Lorenzo answers my question.
I nod, to be honest they have a great house for parties but maybe they just wanna keep it nice. "Alright, but why am I not allowed to see boys?"
"Because we have enough children in this house already."
"But what if I like girls?" Smiling to see how he responds.
He seemed completely unfazed and answered "Still no."
"Ugh, fine." I hide my smirk knowing full well that rule is defiantly going to get broken.
"Oh, the most important question what on level -3?" I curiously ask.
"That's none of your business for the moment and if you do decide to have a look down there I will know the second you step on that floor and their will be consequences."
"Ok, I wasn't planning on going there anyway." That's utter bullshit the first thing I was gonna do was head straight to floor -3 but I have a feeling there are cameras everywhere so I might as well try not cause too much trouble on my first night here.
"Sofia I've only properly known you for a couple of hours and even I can tell that's a fucking lie." I just smirk at his response. "Anyway, your free to leave now and dinners at 7:30."
Did he just read my mind or something? I walk out of the room still curious about floor -3 and head back to my room.
