It was around 6pm, the hour at which traffic peaked at the stations.

Being the only mode of transportation currently functioning, finding a seat was near impossible as people stood shoulder to shoulder with little to no space. Some people even preferred jogging home after work rather than waiting for the next train.

However, in car number 3707...

Whispers filled the area.

"...Blood, the blood."

A noticeable gap could be seen in the crowd.

Some people avoided looking while others pointed and stared. However, they all simultaneously agreed to stay as far away as possible.

Feeling something sticky on his face, Kim Rok Soo lifted his arm and wiped it with his sleeve, but that was filled with blood and only increased the red smudge on his face.

Lee Soo Hyuk's sigh was heard. He leaned over and wiped his cheek with a somewhat clean cloth he got from his pocket. Brushing off the hand with a scowl, Kim Rok Soo took the cloth and did it himself.

"...All that blood."

Returning from their mission, the four members of team 1 did not have the chance to change their clothes and were still wearing the same bloodied outfits they wore when they slaughtered the ground rats. Even with their black clothes, it was obvious they had just come from a battle.

Kim Rok Soo didn't participate, he only ran around with the rats for a bit, but he was the most eye-catching of the four.

His hair was slicked back and caked with red and he left a trail of gruesome looking footsteps behind him. A couple of droplets continued to drip down his sleeves as he held onto the subway handle.

If the other three walked through a rain of blood, he entered a blood bath.

"There's so much..."

He did in fact roll around in a pool of blood. He had to act like bait after all, but the spectators didn't know that.

Looking forward to a warm shower, he recalled a particular issue that was pushed aside early in the morning.

"Team leader, has my door been fixed?"

As if he had forgotten, Lee Soo Hyuk had a blank expression on his face as he blinked.

"Tsk, tsk team leader, aren't you going to fix Rok Soo's door?"

Choi Jung Soo spoke with a mischievous tone as his eyes curved into crescents.

"Are you going to make our youngest pay for something you broke?"

Not missing the chance to tease their team leader, Park Jin Tae began to grin. If Kim Rok Soo saw his face, he'd probably be reminded of his tyranny at the central shelter.

"Wait until everybody finds out that Lee Soo Hyuk is a shitty leader who breaks down his employee's door."

Ignoring the two laughing punks, Lee Soo Hyuk answered in an awkward tone as he stared off into the subway window.

"A bit, wait a bit, Rok Soo."

He then started to smile.

"I'll make sure to buy you an expensive one."

Kim Rok Soo quietly observed his team leader. Even now...the failed actor still gave off a cool, unique noir vibe.
